Yeah, it's real.
That's your ending.
Why'd the other guy say it was fake then? I assume all you guys are experts on the endings...

I don't know why he said it's fake.
I'd love his explanation as to how they got Shepard's VA to voice all that and it be fake.
The voice is the Guardian - the one in control of both the Citadel and the Reapers (which is part of the plot hole everyone talks about - if "he" is in control of the Citadel, what was Sovereign trying to do in ME1?).

f you a true fan of mass effect would not even read the script or watch ending online you so its sad all these people are doing.
I'm so glad you wrote the dictionary on what a "true fan of mass effect" would do, but I really hope you used better sentence structuring and spelling.

This is what the guidebooks say the endings are.
1. Earth destroyed and the Galaxy overtaken; the worst possible ending; 1,750 Galactic Readiness rating OR LOWER 2. Reapers destroyed, Earth and the Galaxy devastated (if Collector Base destroyed) /// Become a Reaper, Earth and Galaxy devastated (if Collector Base kept). 3. Reapers destroyed, Earth and the Galaxy less devastated(if Collector Base destroyed) /// Become a Reaper, Earth and Galaxy devastated (if Collector Base kept). 4. The Earth and the Galaxy saved; become a Reaper (leader) the middle ending 5. Create synergy between organic and synthetic kind, saving Earth and the Galaxy 6. Reapers destroyed, the Earth and the Galaxy saved; the Perfect Ending; 4,000 Galactic Readiness rating and certain conditions met through Mass Effect 3 met OR 5,000 Galactic Readiness by playing both single player and multiplayer There's a 7th, surprise ending you get for completing a New Game+ campaign. However, I don't even know what the surprise ending entails--I don't even know what each main ending entails, fully

Pretty much those six endings are only three ends with Red, Green and Blue light and all pretty much the same, just different outcomes for earth.

It's a person from this world.
It's a direct violation of the fourth wall.

I tohught saving earth and the galaxy was the bigger part of the endings, the point of trying to defeat the reapers.

The Normandy crashes when the mass relays are destroyed. The survivors supposedly form their own colony on this backwater planet that they crash on.
The old man is supposedly either a survivor of the crash (potentially Vega, someone said) or is a descendant of one of the survivors and is telling the story to the child in memory of Shepard - whether he dies or not.
Now, how they know about the Guardian and all that - if they crash and aren't able to get in contact with anyone - is a fair question.

The old man is not Shepard because there's no female version. He's the descendant of the Normandy who formed a colony on Planet Deliverance.Butthead11 wrote...
