ME2 had some great tracks but I love the Blade Runner feel of ME1.

All the atmospheric tracks from ME1, like Noveria, Feros and Ilos.

And Virmire Assault.

ME2 has the amazing unique character themes, in which it stands out.

And Suicide Mission.
I especially love the slow dark start to it and have tried to achieve this kind of sound with my Grand, but so far the results haven´t been anything like it.
Any tips? I have a Yamaha Portable Grand and it has about different 429 instruments.

I think mass effect 1 had an epic soundtrack, much better than me2 (too 'actioney')

ME2, certainly. I liked specific songs from ME1 a lot (Virmire Assault is the obvious one!), but I really loved the "character" songs and the ending tracks from ME2.

ME1. Virmire assault was the best sound track ever.

The ME 1 sound track was epic like your quest.   The ME 2 sound track didnt seam to carry the weight of your actions, while good it wasnt up to ME 1 standards.

While there are some ME1 tracks I really liked, the ME2 one was better alltogether IMO.

Overall, I feel they were equal.

Both games' soundtrack had excellent pieces, but one instance ME1 beats ME2 is in the credits song. ME1 credits were epic and made you feel ready to tear into the next one.

personally I liked ME2's more. I absolutely LOVED the track "Suicide Mission". Had that epic feel that gets the heart pumping.

I feel the same way about ME1's ending credits song. Loved it.
