So I'm playing ME2 right now and I have to pick a romance between Tali and Miranda.  If you had to pick the lucky girl who would it be.  I'm wondering if there will be a advantage in ME3 for either.  A possible spy for cerberus or a Admiral for the migrant fleet.

If I could only choose one, I'd say Tali. She is a full squadmate in ME3, so you are much more likely to get an actual resolution to the romance sub-plot.

 You onle get her at the end of ME3, as for resolutions, there wont be any for all LIs.

How so? You can not recruit Tali and I believe Garrus too. This means they dont get stranded at the end. The endings are still really bad though.

I fail to see how Miranda taking a shot but Garrus dying makes Miranda a bad character...

And I'll gladly explain to you why I legitimately don't like Tali. I'd prefer it be via PM though. don't want to drag off topic.

Oh, Im not asking why you dont like Tali, Im asking why you think shes a bad character? As for why MJ is a bad character: I never implied that was the reason, I said that was one of the things that made me hate her.

I never said Tali is a bad character. For what she is, she's okay enough. Not one of my favorites, but I don't hate her.

But I do think notion of Miranda being a joke, while Tali isn't is a bit silly.

"Character X being a joke while character Y is perfectly fine" is a bit silly in general.

I still fail to see how Miranda surviving the gutshot while Garrus dies is automatically a bad quality.

1. You see nothing wrong with that? Making a character that wears a skintight outfit and high heels whos somehow indestructible for most of the suicide mission. Yeah.... again, thats just one random reason I hate her.

1. Don't misunderstand me. I'm not the biggest fan of the body suits. I always have her wear her combat armor while out on missions. On-board the Normandy, I swap back and forth between her other clothes.

2. I would like to see this. I have yet to meet someone who genuinely dislikes a character with legitimate reason, instead of just arguing semantics. I welcome true discussion with open arms, even if I don't agree with it. It's only the idiots I take offense to.

3. Just because Tali gets flak (She doesn't get nearly as much as everyone makes it out to be), that's a solid reason to hate Miranda?

I hate sounding rude, but so far, the reasons for your distaste of a certain character are just coming out of your ass. You also haven't provided any reason as to why you like Tali so much. Anyway, if you wish to continue, we should do it via PM so as to not derail the thread even further.
