Awesome soundtrack... this is really only a fraction of the songs in the game. There appear to be hundreds of scores. Some new, some old. Very exciting.
I loved the ME1 soundtrack but I think this one is better. If nothing else, the music tops the other games IMO.

As many of you have mentioned, the soundtrack's content doesn't directly correlate to the content in the game. There are different requirements for both the soundtrack and the game. There was a LOT of original music in ME3 (I think we ended up with about three hours in the end) and condensing that into a soundtrack that made sense in it's own right meant a lot of pieces were left out.
I'm really happy with how it turned out though... and I tried to name the tracks in a non-spoilerific way... but the names will TOTALLY make sense once you play the game. Put a lot of thought into the naming
Just so you know, we generally have music composed into tiny chunks that are then assembled at runtime to create what you hear in game based on what you're doing. It's very difficult to turn that into a soundtrack that SOUNDS like a soundtrack and not just a bunch of random cues crossfaded together... so I'm really glad you're liking it!
Finally, as has been mentioned, wave files are the best quality format to have. You're essentially getting the final, highest quality assets, straight from my sound editor to you. If you want to make them into MP3's or ogg or whatever else, that's totally your choice. Let me know if this is a real pain so in the future we can reassess how we deliver the soundtracks.
Looking forward to next week, can't wait!!!

Allow me to be the first to thank you for such an incredible job! Really! This is the soundtrack of the year in my own opinion. Sorry Hans Zimmer, and The Dark Knight Rises. You'll have to take second place.Rob Blake wrote...

First off, fantastic work on the soundtrack. Great stuff.
Secondly, I like the .wav format. Great quality and all that. That said, I WILL be converting them the MP3's for the sole purpose of uploading to my iPhone so it doens't take up 600MB of space on there haha.
But I will keep the original .wav files on my computer for when I wish to listen that way.

There won't be a complete one. Never is.Prince_Valiant wrote...
Is the Soundtrack of the Digital Deluxe Edition the complete one or will there be another release with more tracks in trade?
That said, there are some who can rip all of the music out of the game, put it together, and release it to the public. I might be capable of doing that.....

I'm sure visual memories from times in the game that the music plays will only strengthen my love for it.
