I think the post is still on the first page here about knowing the endings will you still buy the game
73%-Yes
27%-No
makes you wonder if Bioware could sue the ones who leaked the endings for lost profits lol
I wonder...

If I were BW i would be in crisis mode right now..... If 27% of people who were going to buy the game don't, it will hurt.

I think once actual sales are calculated (since I'm sticking with my belief that pre-orders will make up the bulk up the sales and dry up afterwards), we'll have a better idea on what they need to do.
It'll be sad to see the drama unfold, but it'll be interesting to watch the reactions.

That's 27% of a tiny little fragment of fans. Any most of them are lying, lol.

The forums only represent the most vocal or the most bored or those with no life. (Lets be honest).

It's no longer limited to BSN, though. Plus, now you have the angry fans who are leaking the endings to the Facebook page and launch trailer YouTube pages.
Too early to judge, really.

But the forums do not exist in isolation.

If Bioware's going to rely on polls, then how about this one:
http://social.biowar...57/polls/28904/
Most people'd pay to see the ending "fixed", so just imagine how much Bioware could make by making such a DLC...

Exactly right. We're talking about a game that sells millions and millions of copies, and there are something like a hundred fans online whining about how they think the ending is going to suck. So then 27 or so of those fans say they won't buy the game, but probably more than half of them are really lying. So in the end, MAYBE Bioware loses ten or so sales. I'm sure Casey Hudson will lose sleep over that...

I'd pay to get a version of the song Hotel California where you can both check out AND leave. But that's not the song that Don Henley wanted to write.

As for what Facebook represents...
It represents the slime of our civilization.
