Think of this, there is a reason Bioware got the funding to make 3 games. There is a reason why Bioware got the funding to make Mass Effect 3. If the writing wasn't good and they didn't think it would please the majority of their fans then ME3 would have been shelved. Look at Eragon, awesome books, movie in my opinion was great but didn't do so well in the box office, any sequals? nope because they didn't see a point in making any more.
As I said until you can write for a multi-million dollar gaming company all your critizism is just anger over them not making the game the way you had hoped. Face it your just mad that Shepard didn't get to walk away from this one.
LOL what is this? By that logic people should never complain about anything ever. Avatar:The Last Airbender was a bad movie but you should give it a pass because the producers did the best they could, right? You don't need to be an expert to point out flaws in anything. The ending is straight up poorly written. I don't see how this is even arguable due to the plotholes and logic jumps needed to make it work.
Also that strawman you got going in the last paragraph is amusing as well.
I liked The Las Airbender, wasn't as good as the cartoons but it still entertained me, what is your point? And please do complain, if that's what makes you feel like you accomplished something go right ahead. You hope Bioware will see the handful of people on the BSN complaining about the endings and somehow decide to recall the game 2 days before launch? Not going to happen. You hope they will see the complaints and make a DLC that will have a happy ending? Might happen but won't change the fact the the core game is what it is. Don't like it don't buy it.
Want to make a point cancel pre-orders and stop posting on their forums. That speaks more than coming to BSN and complaining about something you have entirely no control over whatso ever. Also it's not a Strawman, If you think you can write a better script or make a better game than Bioware then go right ahead and do it.
Point is stop complaining, grow up and cancel your orders and move the hell on if your so unhappy. As the guy who brought up the restaraunt pointed out, If I ordered a Pizza and got a Cow Skull instead I wouldn't complain for weeks about it, I would get my money back and never come back. Stop trying to hang on just because you feel compelled to finish the trilogy, you know what happens now so whats the point right? JUST MOVE ON!
