[Dead or a Dream]

So, I've only ever experienced this once in Mas Effect 2, but this happens every time I try to open a door in the Mass Effect 3 demo. For instance, when I walk up to that first door after the opening cutscene and beating the husks, I have to fenagle into the EXACT right position with the EXACT right angle in order for the command to open the door appears and I can press the key. I can't even get past the second door. Is anyone eles experiencing this? The only other related glitch I've run into is That when you are out on the catwalks, I can't see the reaper's "laser beam" as it is supposed to be seen. I see a relative outline of where it is supposed to be, and that area gets tinged with red. This also happened quite a bit with any kind of light in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Does anybody know what is going on? I need help!
