I been reading alot of things off youtube comments and other websites, saying how bad the ending of ME3 is.
I do not know any major spoilers about the ending.
No Spoilers but is it really as bad as people are saying?

Unless it's some massive disinformation campaign, I'd say bad doesn't even come close to it.:pinched:

If you want a good solid ending for the end of a trilogy. Its very good.

If you have dreams of being in relationships with the main characters and you are looking for a Disney film ending...eh.

I heard from GameStar, (German gaming-magazine) that everything builds up to a phenomenal ending.

No idea by myself, though.

If you thought your choices in the first two games mattered, then yes it's pretty bad. Your decisions have been marginalized. Getting railroaded into the same 3 or 4 endings kinda sucks.

I think the endings are right. I have no problem with them. I think the issue people are having is there really isn't an option to have a 'perfect' happy ending... but in reality, there really shouldn't be. The game isn't based on the idea that Shepard walks away into the sunset. It's made very clear that this is the end of Mass Effect. I think it was the right direction to go in. The endings are solid and intentional.

If you like Deus Ex and such I don't see why you would not like ME3 ending.

Liek that didn't happen in the first two? No matter what, Saren and Soverign die, Council dies or not. Everything is balmed on the Geth.

2nd, Collectors die you either save the base or destroy it. The only factor are who died or not. Still railroaded.

The first two are a lot worst compared to 3.

This thread is walking to close to being spoiler-ish. I've been avoiding the spoiler forum like the plague. I dont know what to believe in and what is rumor, either way i want to go in with a fresh mind and not even have any idea as to what will happen.

Don't ruin the experience for yourself peoples.

i have no idea of how ending is but i didn't like endings of me2 or me1. as a matter of fact i never thought endings are good except cowboy bebop and the witcher 2. endings are a bit cliché but how you come there? this is what really matters for me, and me 2 was best!

Deus Ex the game or Deux Ex the term that like everyone else here uses wrong?

There is no Deus Ex in ME3.

1. The people who have played the game say it's a great ending.
2. The people who read incomplete spoilers say it's a bad one.

Which one are you going to believe?

Play the game and judge for yourself. People don't have 1:1 tastes.

But then again, if this is something that might prevent you from buying the game. You might have to spoil yourself for the ending.

Only you can judge for yourself.

I'd say thin and contrived is more likely but that's just me.

I'm worried about the game doing that to me with a bad ending. I can live with bad if it's simply a case of not defeating the Reapers without taking any losses whatsoever but not if it trivialises everything, or is plain cheesy, or is downright depressing no matter what you do. Oh, and if it's an ME1 end-of-game; I'm pretty certain that I'll want some time afterwards to chat with my crew, and hopefully more of it than I got with ME2.
