For my part i enjoyed every minutes playing mass effect 1 and 2 and cant wait to play mass effect 3
Even if the reapers win destroy everything, or sheppard doing a bbq in is courtyard
and everyone should just feel the same,
We are not at disney world, this is a mature game , get over it?

As long as they don't kill my Shepards LI with one sentence in the epilogue, like they did with Viconia in BG2, I'm happy.
While not quite that extreme, from what I can tell that's kind of what happens.
In fact, my main beef with the endings is that there are in fact epilogue deaths that (from what we know) cannot be avoided. Of those mandatory deaths weren't there I'd be much more open to the idea. Really, really hoping the leaks missed some ending permutation.

so after reading 7 pages of complains, I LAUGHED really bad then, just wanted to write to people that arent happy with the ending, lol the ending is what 5 minutes of a game? 2 minutes, so you wont buy the damn games cause you dont like the 5 last minutes of the freaking trilogy? REALLY? you take time to whine about how the freaking game end but you can't take time to actually wait for the game to release play it, enjoy it and then think about how the game was good even if you didint like 5 freaking minutes of the games? Even if the game dosent end like you hoped so didint mean its a bad ending! i didint read any spoilers but without it , by reading this non spoilers thread i got an idea of what happen to ''sheppard/people''!

Phrases like "Get over it" are always the resort of someone with nothing useful to say. Presumably you'd be quite happy if the game simply stopped after what seemed like another mission? Or didn't have any plot at all? In playing a game I'm trying to achieve something all the time, and that's the reward for doing well at it as well as the enjoyment I get out the playing. Both the journey and the destination need to be worth it. If you don't mind results as well as the gaming can I play poker with you sometime, with me winning all the money no matter who wins the game?

The concepts of "closure" and "maturity" are not mutually exclusive. Likewise, just because there is no happy ending doesn't mean there can't be diverse grey endings.
Now I don't know everything about the endings, but what I do know neither points to closure nor a great deal of diversity in outcome (mandatory deaths, like I said). Again, I really, really really hope I'm wrong.

thats not what im saying, i also like to achieve something, but i dont wanna win all the time, so in my head without havent read any spoiler , i think i know why people arent happy with the ending, like you are (i think) but im sure even if lets say ''sheppard and alot of people die'' to save the world , you acchieved something there even if your character dosent end taking vaccation in hawaii with her/his LI, both journey and destination need to be worth it i agree, but even is sheppard die, dosent mean its a bad destination, we all die someday , and better die doing something ''like save all the galaxy'' then while watching the tv?
My only real hope about the ending, is the importance of the choice i made, i really want them to matter!
Even if my sheppard live or die!
thats its
Ps: sorry for my bad english, i speak french so im doing my best

For the third time, there are unavoidable deaths. As in, your choices change nothing. In the epilogue. You know, after it's all over and you've won. Did I mention "unavoidable?"
Yes, I feel like I've been stung.

sometime death is unavoidable, sometime death dosent matter about the choice or action you make
my mom die febuary 9th of this years, my aunt was there and try to keep her alive but it was too late,
sometime even your action or choice wont affect who live or die, sheppard is just a human, its not a god, wont be abble to save everyone!
Sometime death just happen and you cant do nothing, you are sad, and angry but you need to continue

I think what your saying is want your choices to matter, he responded and said they won't matter that much.
Or atleast thats impression I got but I will find out myself when got the game.
I haven't read or seen spoilers but amount of negativity on how end is handled concerns me.

Now I hear mandatory deaths, no happy ending...and I find it fitting. Unfortunately I read comments on the Launch trailer and was subject to what the ending is(I hate people...), and even then I want to experience the ending. And personally I find what they are saying is the ending to be...well, good. Mass Effect 3 in general(what I've taken from the demo, this opinion is spoiler free) is that you can't save everyone, not everyone is coming out alive, and the war against the Reapers will be disastrous all around. An ending that is bittersweet should be expected...not even expected, it should be demanded.

I personally cannot wait to see the forums in a couple days, you have no idea how many people are going to be complaining about the ending.
Me too, like I said earlier I will not let other people SPOIL what I bought and my game experience. Let them wallow on their on despare.

I been reading alot of things off youtube comments and other websites, saying how bad the ending of ME3 is.
I do not know any major spoilers about the ending.
No Spoilers but is it really as bad as people are saying?
Generally speaking, the answer to that question is "no".
When you read about some horrible, horrible thing on the internet, it's usually not that bad. That goes triple when it's game-related.
And certainly, the answers you will get will be just as biased (people with something to complain about are always more vocal than those who are pleased, and on top of that you have trolls who amplify such issues).
I'm sorry to say there are very few gaming outlets you can trust these days. Game reviews are generally unreliable, and the vox populi always has a strong negative bias (see above). About the only thing you can really rely on are your own experiences with past products and with the developer in general.
