We do not want disney world, do not judge other peoples complaints without really knowing what they are complaining about!

Bioware might come up with some variations of the ending(s) that are not unlocked/implemented in the versions the spoilers are based on.
If that happens i will be glad to be proven wrong and get insulted because of it.

But if they do not i suggest you play/see/read every possible ending and compare them before you judge our opinion.

I personally cannot wait to see the forums in a couple days, you have no idea how many people are going to be complaining about the ending.

And all the s**t in between. The next week will be f**king hilarious with complaints.

The only reason I wont be coming back to the forums is the SPOILERS! Whether intentionally or not spoilers will flood these forums.

And it wont be restricted to the spoiler-allowed section either.....

What would be so bad about a happy ending.
It's not a book or movie where the end must be firm. I could choose which end I want to have a good or bad one. Sure in RL death is inevitable and it can happen bad things, but in a Game you can create the impossible. That's the beauty of different Endings, anyone can choose the one he likes best.

Sorry for my bad English

im not judging, i just dont see the point, of complaning about a game thats have not being release yet? i dont think bioware will just release the game as it was when you /the other saw the ''leak'' and im sure the end will be like it need to be!

That's the point. Although I know how to view all the movies of the game now, I resisted because I bought a DE and I'm just going to experience it first hand.

I heard it was like Halo 3's Legendary ending. And if so it honestly doesnt sound THAT bad. :P

But idk for sure.

From what I've read, it's very much like that.

Sure, it's a very bittersweet ending, but it sets the stage nicely for another game.

BioWare did say this was the end of Commander Shepard's story, but not of Mass Effect's.

I think that's the plan. Shepard's story is already dawning to a close or already dawned to a close. But the ME3 universe (franchise) is too big and it has a lot or tons of potential for a newer and even bigger Mass Effect title in the future.

I'm not so much concerned with the endings being depressing or sad as I'm concerned with the endings feeling contrived.

Tali died on my last play through. I finished it last night. It was an epic fail on her loyalty mission -- quite intentional I might add because I wanted to see the results of it, but I put her in what I thought was the safest position to survive the SM. Did she? No. She died. It stung. Okay? Shepard was an ass. Irina doesn't deserve a happy ending.

And remember people, there no doubt will be DLC in the future. BW isn't going to let this franchise die with a quick sale to new people. But the reaper story arc I'm sure is done.

Want to see something truly depressing? Watch a real classic: Dr. Zhivago with Omar Sharif. ME3 should be uplifting after that, even with the endings.

Damn, that is amazing. I can't believe Bioware actually pulled a good ending for once. Guess I'll have to see it in context.

What troubles me however, if the serious ammount of people who seriously think a happy ending would be a good ending, I mean really? go back to star wars.

Dragon Age: Origins. There was no ending that was really completely positive. Either you made a sacrifice or you made a deal with the devil to live. It still could've still been done better, but the endings certainly fit the game well.

I'm eager to see the endings with all the talk we've been having about them. I'm not spoiling it for myself though.

It's a pyric victory and it ends the series. No saving the princess, no walking into the sunset, no glad-handed hintings if what's to come. Sounds perfect to me.

Even so though, someone at Bioware MIGHT decide to bring back Shepard sometime in the future. Idk the ending yet (I'm not asking though, so pls dont spoil :P) but just look at how Master Chief's story supposedly ended

.....Then Suddenly- O-O

lol imagine if the two met each other and teamed up xD

Ah, but the DA:O endings felt satisfying because they made sense. There is one part of the endings as we know that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever atm. And while I am sure it's meant to be hopeful, it's actually pretty horrific when you start to think about it logically. And, so, people feel that it's more like getting the metaphorical finger than it is any kind of "sweet" to temper the "bitter" and it feels contrived.

And, if that one thing had been handled better one way or another. I'd have a lot less trouble with the endings as we know them now.

I'm hoping for at least one "Day of Lavos" type ending, where you mess up and it shows the Reapers destroy everything.

off: Considering how I'm listening to Chrono Trigger OST right now (I don't have ME3's yet :P), you have no idea how warm and fuzzy that makes me, despite being apocalyptic and all :D

I don't mind if the endings are filled with deaths... I just hope that the way that leads there and such an end result actually makes sense and is filled with plot twists I'd never come up with. Like the revelation of the Citadel being a Relay - I never would have figured that out.
So yes, I just want it to make sense.

I won't comment on whether or not you'll get that as no spoilers are allowed and you might well not want to know, anyway, but I do want to commend you on the ace reference.

For the third time, there are unavoidable deaths. As in, your choices change nothing. In the epilogue. You know, after it's all over and you've won. Did I mention "unavoidable?"

Yes, I feel like I've been stung.

sometime death is unavoidable, sometime death dosent matter about the choice or action you make

my mom die febuary 9th of this years, my aunt  was there and try to keep her alive but it was too late,
sometime even your action or choice wont affect who live or die, sheppard is just a human, its not a god, wont be abble to save everyone!

Sometime death  just happen and you cant do nothing, you are sad, and angry but you need to continue

Yes he is. He came back from the dead and is the only one who can magically stop the Reapers for some reason.
