I know it's a single player game and you can play things the way you want but this is really bad. 

 

I'm not the best player at Dragon Age but c'mon that was just really bad.  I even had enough sense to come up with some sort of tactic that worked.  Has this guy ever heard of force field, or archers, or any other basic rpg term.  No wonder people complain about the game.  They are morons...  Sorry about that last part but the video speaks for itself.

At first I thought that guy is just joking. I laughed and watched.

But after he kiled off his party in, like...30 seconds or less, and begun to run around with Morrigan and obviously found a glitch or something in the dragon behavior...wow, some people really should quit playing such games and stick to shooters.

I mean, seriosuly, I am not much of a tactical person, I died in less than 2 minutes the first time I got to this fight but even without controlling the whole party I manage to do it on all difficulties now.

Hey,nice attitude you guys got there. Clearly, he made the film to show that there's a bug in the high dragon's behaviour pattern, and that you could exploit it. No need togive him grief about letting his party die when the entire point was that you didn't need a party to beat the encounter. Still, why resort to cheesing when the dragon is quite beatable with normal tactics, and by the look of it, far mor entertaining that way?

Actually listen to the first 30 seconds of the video. "This was actually really difficult to do. And it took me long time to figure out the BEST way to do this. Everyone in my party is level 22........." There are easier and quicker ways to beat that Dragon.

He *deliberately* sends his party to die, retaining Morrigan, because he is *deliberately* intending to exploit AI positional flaws that allow for attacking at range without ever yourself being attacked.

It is sad that was the most efficient way he thought up to do it though. As an efficiency exploit, it's 12 and a half minute average is not stellar.

What the High Dragon moves.... Never seen that .....

It think it was funny. Remember a bug in BG 2, where you could just click talk-attack-talk on enemies, easiest way to kill a dragon without them even turning hostile.

The console version is sooo lame, on the PC version the High Dragon will follow you around and fly to any sufficient space, so you can't get away from it.

Actually the console version does the same thing. It's just that this guy was working the AI to move in those two specific spots.

I was really, really hoping that near the end of the video, when the dragon was nearly dead, and after spending all that time on this awesomely inefficient technique, Morrigan had gotten eaten or clobbered to death.

Game over.



That would have made for a more entertaining video.

All I can say is the graphics on the xbox 360 for that is horrible. The dragon looks like a chicken. On the PC the dragon is really impressive. Going to give this a shot on the PC. Be back in 20 minutes with a report.
