Miranda has a sidequest relating to Oriana and her father, which u know from ME2. Miranda may die.

any detail on her romance,

The ME2 characters have been overlooked and there isn't any major romance.There may be some minor romance in terms of dialogue in case you romanced her in ME2 especially if she is about to die.

I would also like to note that the dialogue between FemShep and Garrus is pretty adorable.

I do wish there was at LEAST a confrontation between Kaiden and Garrus, considering I romanced both and they didn't even TALK to one another about it.

I would say yes. There is still around the same amount of cutscene dialogue as there was in the first, and I believe the romance is a little better because you actually "kiss" him. I just wish there was more interaction between your first and second romantic interest for story and character purposes. 

The cutscene dialogue before you head into the final battle is also very heart warming and made me wish that I had my own Garrus. Very cute, and I *might* just have gotten a little teary eyed. 

Only complaint is that Sheppard should have had the people that they chose to go with them on the mission, to go up to the Citidal with them. So naturally, I wish Garrus was up there with me when I had to make my final decision....
