Weird place to ask but some people on here are very tech savvy and I need this fixed before ME3 comes out.
I got a 250 gb harddrive for my Xbox on christmas and everything worked fine. Now out of the blue my load times are annoyingly long. About 5 minuts I say. Even if I am just turning on the Xbox, or loading screens between game levels. I looked online and it said I should try clearing my system cache. I did, I think, yet none of my updates disappeard and the screen barely popped up before it it was "done". I also formatted the hard drive, there is nothing on it and it still takes 5 minuts to load the menu screen. If I take the HDD out completely it works fine but I don't have enough space on my xbox for all the content, saved games and demo.
Do I need a new Hard Drive? Why did this one crap out out of nowhere?
Dire need.

I believe it might be an issue with your HDD, unfortunately -- especially since you said it works fine with the HDD off the console. If all else fails, try transferring your content to a 16 GB USB drive for the time being until you gather up for a new HDD.
