Take Conrad Verner for Instance, Fist, and Helena the Gangster.

He doesn't know what mode he's playing on, he doesn't check for options, etc.
Sorry but I'll reserve my judgement until somebody who is at least a little bit more meticulous says something on this.

Q - Are we sure that's not just limited to the settings Pikachuu is playing under? Remember you can now customize how many decisions you need to give Shepherd. If you're a fan of combat, you can make dialogue choices into cutscenes. We saw that in the demo.
A – I have not been presented with a choice to play RPG/Combat like the demo, im 99.99% sure there are no options like that in the full game.
A – No I do not I was lucky enough to get the regular edition 3 days early
Uhhh so he's making claims like Shepard auto-talks A LOT yet he's not sure what mode he's playing in?! LOL
Not sure what mode he's in, but he should have gotten the option. I think Casey Hudson even talked about it being an option in the game. Don't know how he ended up skipping it.
We've seen from streams that there are only 2 modes for dialogue. Full discussion and No discussion. If he's getting any options to select, then he's on Full discussion.

A little harsh, no? It's evident that ME 3 is full of automated dialogue. Just look at the streams, the demo etc.

The way he talks just ticks me off. He is also very careless in what he says and checks.

Heard somewhere else that you can still get some options in Action mode.android654 wrote...

You heard wrong. There was a stream in action mode and it auto selects the Paragon prompts and there are no selections anywhere. The demo merely put the presets there, but it is indicative of the full game.

Q - Do the animations and graphics generally look acceptable in the final PC version now?
A – I haz xbox not PC game
Q - Does he know if other full armors are customizable at all? I mean the ones you get in ME3, not the ME2 full armors you get with the game?
A – Everything advertised I have found in some market in the citadel and they all cost quite a lot of credits for me right now and I havnt been able to buy any but I do not think they would all be customizable such as the collector armor.
Q - Did he go to the options menu?
A – I am VERY sorry about that…I just did and here ya go
Q - What can you tell about the Citadel? Is it bigger than Mass Effect 1?
A – Yes
Q - What is Sheps interactions like on board the Normandy with his crew? Is it like ME 1 and 2 were you have certain choices/options in your conversation or is it automated?
A – A bit of both

Q - Do your squad mates interact with each other and develop relanyships besides sheaprd in the game?
A- Yes! They actually do communicate with eachother on the ship, I have noticed they keep in contact through phones or something wherever they are staying in the ship, Also (idk about other places) they leave the normandy with you if you go to the citadel and you will find them around various places and be able to trigger cut scenes/dialog and quest off the normany.
Well this sounds really great.
Although auto-dialogue is disappointing. I didn't expect it to be any other way for a while now, but still.
Personally I don't think this will affect my enjoyment of the game all that much, most of the automated responses I've seen until now seemed to fit my Shepard. But that can't be said for everyone. Bioware knew how important it was to have as much freedom as possible in this area and despite that it looks like they limited it.
This would be acceptable for a new game with a new character, but not in the final installment of a trilogy.

Never saw the stream of the full game in action mode. Might as well wait for it. Plus I was more speaking about why didn't he not see any option for changing the modes since it is supposed to be in the game.android654 wrote...

Okay, so it turns out I was right! Ha, that's pretty cool. So it turns out it's not as stream-lined as people thought. Wicked.

But he was playing on full decisions. So the amoount of auto dialogue is the same.

Basically. Except you get more options with Story and RPG. Well, relatively moreDatIrishFella wrote...
I think the reason they scrapped the "RPG" "Action and "Story" modes is because they are all basically the same.

No, you can. In full action mode, CASEY HUDSON HIMSELF said you can choose one of two options that radically change the game. He said this in a recent interview with 3 ner-people. Not sure where it is, but yeah.

This isn't accurate. You can still make decisions in Action Mode.
