This happened a long time ago. People knew about autodialogue for a LONG time. The PLC wrote...
That is... bad. What happened!?
It's time to get over it. I have. And I can't wait for the game! And Mr Pikachuu loves the game too.
Ah, I see. Makes sense. Thanks.PoliteAssasin wrote...
Sad. BTW I don't think they scrapped the game modes, it seems as if it only comes up if you create a new character in ME3, not import.

Question! Do you get your full squad near the very beginning of the game or is it like ME2, where you get your squadmates throughout missions?

Think of it like this...
In ME1 and ME2, you had a lot of dialogue that would end up yielding the same results.
In ME3, the dialogue has simply been rid of redundant choices really... There's more meaningful choices and theres still opportunities to 'investigate', the game is still going to feel really broad with choices, its just going to be more cinematic. LotSB comes to mind.

In some ways yes. In other ways, definitely not.Legion64 wrote...
Citadel in ME3 is bigger then in ME1? It's official, ME3 is the best Mass Effect ever.

The problem is my renegade Shep has to be friendly to the new Yeoman instead of being a douche.
More cinematic yes. And convos on the hub worlds with squadmates should be good.

This seems wrong. If he was really answering these questions, shouldn't all of the answers be "Pika! Piiika! Pi-KA-chu!" or some such?

Monocle and top hats for everyone! But yeah, thanks for all the answers. Still worried about the extreme amount of auto-dialogue. If ME3 ends up being a bad game...

That's been a problem since ME1.
I HAD TO BE friends with my crew.

. I agree with you 100% some of the dialogue in the old ME was just useless and time consuming.plus it would lead to the same crap, as long as they added more cinematics instead I'll be like it.squee365 wrote...

Well that sucks.
But I wonder if all that auto dialogue is the "investigation" options just played like that.

You did.
Hence why I don't see why people have all this "ME1 was perfect" going on. It had it's role play issues too.

What I heard is that if you are more leaning towards renegade, it relfects to the auto dialogue.

Thinking the same thing. So much of the dialogue in ME1 (they fixed it a bit in ME2) was almost the same if not exactly the same regardless of what you chose in the dialogue wheel. As long as they leave it mostly as the filler dialogue I'm fine. Added bonus is they also get to control timing better if they remove the whole "pause while player picks one of the options" feature that can delay the game indefinately. So dialogue is less people standing opposite each other and yacking and more dynamic (like crawling through the rubble in the demo while talking to Anderson).

In RPG mode, Im sure the conversations will be much more like ME1 and ME2 with you making 95% of the choices.

If the auto-dialogue changes based on alignment, why not just have dialogue choices?

Gives them the ability to have events be more dynamic since they don't have to wait for you to decide what to pick.
