You mentioned in another thread that you used a promotional free shipping, right? And your order is still scheduled on release day. Did the customer service reps refer to your shipping as Economy shipping?

I just got off the phone with an EA rep and he told me my order will be shipped today and arrive tomorrow (still haven't gotten a shipping confirmation). But the guy also referred to my shipping as Economy shipping. I thought Economy shipping is the slowest type of shipping.

I pre-ordered my Origin copy in January (the 20th), Gamestop copy around the same time, but that's an in-store pickup, just in case I got my origin one late.

Mine was last august. Just got shipping confirmation. UPS said originally scheduled for wednesday, but now by end of day tuesday.

I used the promotional free shipping that is correct. I made sure it was release day shipping before I did though. Economy shipping was never mentioned, nor did I click anything requesting expedited shipping. I just went with what the EA CS rep said when he assured me I would get it release day. To me that is "release day" shipping lol. Does that make sense or did I just confuse you further?

That makes sense. It sounds like what I did, too. I'm not sure why they called it Economy shipping for me and said I would get it tomorrow, too -- even though I haven't gotten a shipping confirmation yet.

I went ahead and put in an order through Gamestop. Someone just linked that they've reopened the pre-orders for the CE (probably stock from all the canceled/unpaid pre-orders).

I'm safe!!! > *big sigh of relief*

Now I can comfortably wait to see if Origin comes through. If they don't, no big deal. If they do, I don't imagine I'll have problems reselling the extra CE.

Did you look up your order via www.findmyorder.com? Some of us have had better luck seeing it there.

Yes, I tried it and came up with nothing. I contacted customer support and they said it's "pending fulfillment" and that I should contact my bank about my issue. I replied asking what exactly my issue is, so I can better explain it to my bank. I have no idea what pending fulfillment means, or why I can't find any information myself on their website.

Yeah, one of the reps told me the exact same thing. However, when I talked to a different rep (literally 5 minutes later) he said it was just processing and that I'd have it soon. So, I don't know what to believe.

I think the truth is that EA is an evil corporate machine that hates our guts and wants to eat our souls.


Ok ok, maybe it's more likely that origin is just buggy and having trouble dealing with so many pre orders. The responses I'm getting from the emails are so generic, it almost sounds automated. They must be swamped with questions right now. I just hope it comes in on time. If not, I'll be doing most of my future pre ordering from gamestop.

You really should have them call you. The email and live chat is outsourced to I believe India. I just had them call me, they said since my order is still in process it means nothing is wrong with it, and I will get my shipping confirmation tomorrow when it ships.

Which is of course, wrong, seeing as others have gotten theirs <.<;

Got my shipping confirmation earlier today. My co-workers were quite glad that no one had to get hurt

I'd definitely suggest having an EA rep call you instead of doing a live chat. They seem far more knowledgeable and helpful and if your order status isn't even showing up on findmyorder.com then it would definitely be in your best interest to check. Though I'm sure it's just a technical thing due to them being swamped. At least I hope that's why.

This "early delivery" by UPS is bad business practice and makes me wish companies would use FedEx more. The UPS in my area is notorious. I pre-ordered the CE and was guaranteed release day shipping by Origin. And yet UPS claims this guaranteed day is "early" so they are not liable for it arriving a day late? Bad form.

Still haven't received any sort of notification beyond the initial email when I bought the CE. I wasn't charged for my item yet either so I guess it's not like I've lost anything. However it does show how unreliable the Origin store actually is and I know I won't be purchasing anything from there anytime soon.

EA ORIGIN STORE NEVER AGAIN Nothing i contact costumer service and he couldnt tell me any thing this is the worst store ever i am so mad that they can lie i paid for the CE and made sure i would receive the game on release day thats what they told me. Will NEVER EVER BUY FROM EA ORIGIN i learned my lesson i hope ever one reads this and learn from my mistake dont buy from ORIGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I just talked with the live chat service and it was relatively useless. All he could tell me was that I would get an email as soon as "the order has been processed", which leads me to believe either my order is late and won't arrive till the weekend (which wouldn't be horrible, I'm patient, but the wait would kinda suck), or that they're mostly out of N7 copies.

YES i just got mine but mines says it wont be delivered until end of day thursday at least i no its coming still mad at ea origin for lying and saying i will get on release day will not use es origin again i hope every one else gets there's soon

Personally don't mind if my order comes in late. Seeing as I'm in residence and my Xbox is back home, the earliest I'll be playing this is the Easter long weekend. Frustrating for people who are at home or who have consoles/pc to play this on, but trust me, life could be worse

Finally got my confirmation email im having doubts about getting it tommorow like some of you, also pretty iritated seeing as Origin told me i would get it on release date, reguardless im happy i know its coming at least now, huge weight off my shoulders not having to play the guessing game anymore.
