Is there an ini tweak or something to disable depth of field in the ME3 demo?

If anyone's curious, adding "DepthofField=False" to GamerSettings.ini under SystemSettings did the trick.

This post has no meaning, you can't disable "depth of field" or you turn blind.

The depth of field effect is terribly annoying. It blurs stuff that isn't supposed to, also. I'm going to try cipher's trick, but I heard that disabling DOF in ME2 disabled some other effects. Hopefully not.

Update: Wow, without depth of field everything looks a lot more crisp and clear. I have no idea why BioWare included such a terrible graphics "feature". The least they could have done is make it a standard graphics option and separate disabling it from other effects.

I keep having problems with the game blurring things that aren't supposed to be blurred, like characters I'm talking to, while a small spot on the ceiling is in focus.

Timerider42: Are you using the default field of view? If not then this will happen as sadly the animated sequences are designed with only one FOV in mind.

Yeah. I haven't edited anything, so it should be default.

There is no DepthofField setting under the SystemSettings part of the .ini. Should I add it?

Yeah, just add it.
