I got my tracking number at 8:30am and it has not updated since, but from reading others posts I should be fine.

Same. Except mine came in at 10am without any update as if they created the label but didn't give it to UPS to send it.

I never understood why people buy a game online, it's a lot of fun going to a store and talking to fellow fans of the game. Plus I don't have to wait a few days for it to ship, i'll be playing ME3 in about 6 hrs

Both my gamestops decided to not do instore pick up that is why.

My shipping label has already been created a few hours ago, but no more updates since then. If it gets here until friday, I'm happy, since the estimate is from 4 to 5 business days.

I normally preorder in the store, but I have a few reasons for not doing so this time.

The manager who was working at the local Gamestop was a tool and he had a habit of being a douche to customers, lying to them, and selling their preorders if they didnt pick them up right away.

Last time I preordered a game there, it was Skyrim, and every (forgive me young ones) annoying little teenager was there, on top of the fact that just about every single customer in there was giving my fiance and I dirty looks.

Then I also waited too long to get an in-store pickup too. So there's that too. At least my games will arrive tomorrow at my door.

My CE shipped today. It's already in my state and I'll be receiving it tomorrow. I hope to God I'll be home to get it, though.

Was really worried when I checked my order on the Gamestop site and it said "Closed", for a second I thought my order got cancelled, which seems to be happening to some of people on here.

I got my txt message yesterday saying my game will be ready 12am, but to arrive 10pm to finalize payment. Should I go ahead and go at 10pm if i've payed for the game in full already?

From what I've been told by Gamestop workers is that you have to check in at 10PM so they get your copy (or copies) ready, so they can move things along for you and other customers more quickly. I don't think you won't be able to get it until 12:01 AM local time anyway (I'm not 100% sure though since I've never been to any midnight launch for any game at any store) this what I've been told.
 
Also for the record: if you have already pre-ordered it (reguardless if you fully pre-paid for it or not) then you have about  2 days (I think that is amount of time) to pick it up. If you don't then lose it and the game goes back on the self, and you get either in store credit or your money back.
 

As for me: I re-ordered the CEs for Xbox 360 and the PS3 online and one of them has already been paid for! 

The only downside is because they sent the email to my old account which no longer exists I won't get the defender armor and the rifle. I just hope I don't overdrawn at the bank for this and end up regretting this.

Does it really matter if I show up at 11 or so though? I'm getting a PS3 copy and it's already paid for, theres no way my copy will be gone tonight though right? Since i've paid in full? Showing up at 10pm only to wait 2 more hours seems kinda ridiculous if i've already paid in full.

Leaving in 40 minutes for the midnight release. I have a dang 58 minute drive because I just moved 2 days ago and didn't want to chance trying to see if the closer Game Stop would have enough CE ordered.

Just got an email. My CE has shipped.... to the wrong frakking address. Somehow I managed to give Gamestop my home address, not my university address. Sooo... won't be able to get my hands on the game until the 24th at the earlist. This is going to be a loooong couple of weeks.
