My Impulse client says GameStop all over it so I got to say it does. No midnight parties for me but when it unlocks I too am all ready to go.

I got the call on Friday from GameStop to pick up my CE at the midnight release. I asked if there are going to be any freebies, but they said they didn't know. I went in to pay off my pre-order on Saturday and asked again about the possibility of there being any freebies, and again they denied any knowledge.

@TF25Darkdragon : ehh when mine called they just said they where doing a midnight release. Though last time I went in the clerk mentioned how lucky I was to already have the CE pre-ordered since they had been out of that for over a month - that was 2.... months ago? -ish.

Mine's never screwed up there stuff like that for me, they seem to be pretty on the ball with it. Which is a nice change of pace from years back. They used to employ idiots who'd never played a game before, was almost a police to ensure none of there workers where gamers. Used to goto gamecrazy instead but with Hollywood video dying out so did that.

Anyways Gamestop I go to now is full of gamers, which is fantastic, really nice people.

anyone know what it means if i got a text saying i need to finalize my order monday at 10pm? i already payed it all off. and it says it will be ready for pick up 12:01 am on tuesday.

 Gamestop texted me this afternoon. Going to pick it up Tuesday at midnight. Super psyched!!!
Going to class tomorrow and then coming home to write a paper so I can play uninterupted on Tuesday is gonna be hard.

Got the call on Friday from Gamestop... but I can't go.
I loaned my car to my Grandmother because her's died, now I'm sharing a ride with my roomy and he works the graveyard shift, which means no ride to Gamestop on Monday night for me.

Even if you paid it off you need to go into the store before midnight but after 10PM. They "Finalize" your order and give you a reciept that shows proof you paid it off.  This is also when they try and sell you on other preorders and the guide.

Gamestop called me as well. I was sleeping, but they left a message on my answering machine, and I *squee'd* when I remembered how close I was to getting to play ME3, then I proceeded to promptly go back to sleep.

That's strange. When I did my pre-order in the store, I got the reciept that says I paid with a gift card and the rest was charged that day and I haven't gotten a call.

I'm not sure if I want to go to the 12 am release but I'm definitely bringing the reciept with me no matter when I get there. I'm not taking a chance that they'll screw up my order.

Does anyone know how we'll get the GS pre-order bonus? I wonder if it's going to be on a small slip of paper that they hand to you seperately from the game or if it's something byndled in the game box itself.

Anyone who isn't doing in store pick up also get the Text saying that they needed to come in a pay for it? I thought they charged us when the game was shipped.
