Been doing a quick run through on the PC of Mass Effect 2 preparing for ME3 launch. The game has been flawless until I went to do the final mission. I have all the companions loyal and all the upgrades and such. The problem is when I "jump through" the relay I get the optional romance and Illusive Man cutscenes and after that it's nothing but a black screen with ingame sounds from the normandy. No matter how long I wait it never does anything, seems almost like the video fails to load. When I open the task manager in Windows it says Mass Effect 2 is not responding.
I contacted EA live tech chat about it , sent them my DxDiag and was advised to adjust the games Affinity levels in the task manager. I did that and had no luck getting past the black screen, so the live tech person told me to post here for further assistance.
