Is there anyone who has the hand and can enlighten me how hard/easy it
is to get more of them? I am really digging the idea of lift grenades
but I am curious just how often I will be able to toss one out.
Also, am I correct in assuming that the grenades only left an unprotected target?
Grenades in SP?

You pick one up with every thermal clip you pick up, that's how it is in the demo anyway. So you can use them rather liberally, especially since they're spammable, off GCD, and upgrading the skill can give you as many as 6 at once IIRC. They're pretty fun to use too.
What about leaving an unprotected target?

He meant lift. And yes, I'd imagine so, but AFAIK if they punch through protections, they'll lift the target in the same blast.

Oh you mean LIFT. You're referring to the sentinel's grenades. I don't know, but probably only effects targets with only health remaining, like the pull power. I think they do minor damage on impact regardless. Somebody that's played sentinel on the demo will need to confirm this. Would seem sorta useless if it didn't do decent damage or lift regardless of protection.

No, grenades are a different item drop, but enemies do occasionally drop them and you'll occasionally find a few laying around like thermal clips.

Yes, I did mean lift. Swype input ftl. But I did have played the demo as a Sentinel I just can't recall right off hand on that point, and as far as picking up grenades with thermal clips I didn't get a new grenade every time I stepped on a thermal clip. Even if I actually got ammo from it it was rare that I got a grenade from it. It makes sense to me that you wouldn't get one every time you stepped on a clip, but it did seem a little TOO uncommon to me on the demo. I guess I will have to replay the demo tonight.

Thanks for the correction. Must have just not noticed them.
Luckily it doesn't seem that the majority of enemies are protected, even
on insanity, making the game more balanced for biotic classes and
powers. But this may change. I can only hope it doesn't, because it
really messed with the adept in ME2.

I must say for as much complaining as I have seen about the change to TA on the sentinel I am very much excited about playing through as my sentinel (on hardcore, don't much care for insanity).
