I have been stabbed probably 5-6 times total.
Been shot with the Palm Cannon about 10 times that amount.

Stab. Permadeath is grossly unfair, it removes the co-op element of the game regardless of the strength of your team or your diligence in conserving medigel (which is already limited to 2).
This is an online game too. With lag, awkward movement, etc. - an attack with that kind of penalties just seems unfair. The witch in Left4Dead doesn't have the same sort of perma-kill for instance. The fact that the attacker can kill you easily is enough.

I hate the insta-kill stab. Having no chance to be revived makes that ability the worse of the two, imho.

That can't be true. I've been impaled midway through a charge. The absolute worst is when they insta kill you right as you get up from being revived. You can't even move yet because you're just getting up and then the animation starts and you're out for a round.. dumbest thing ever.
I've had luck dodging their hand cannon by just rolling around so it doesn't really kill me often unless I've been hit by something else.

It's unfair isn't it when they should have died by that heavy melee but they countered it with the stabby instant kill.

Almost everytime this has happened to me, I was in the middle of rolling or sprinting. This is a false statement.
Instakill is extremely annoying, but only really when I medi-gel and the kill me before I can even move, sometimes even before I'm fully standing up. But the hand cannon is worse. They can shoot through walls by sticking their hand through and often times won't even be looking at you but still hitting you. And it is extremly instant. So the handcannon imo is worse.

The hand cannon killed me far more often than the stabbity stab, but i find the stab far more anoying when it happens. I usually die to the cannon if i was stupid, or my spacebar decided to stick me to cover instead of running past it.
The stab on the other hand pulls me right out of the charge or nova animation with nothing i could do to avoid it, or it teleports me 5 meters back to the phantom for her to stab me.

Both are annoying.
The hand cannon is doing more damage than most Cerberus weapons and her melee execution sort of drags you into place if you try to run away.

melee cause in silver and gold there are lots of phantoms and sometimes they rly sneak behind,even not when behind they can kill you from front,they can kill you even if dodging backward,animation script just teleports you to them,but can't kill u if u dodge left or right,kinda strange lol.

They can lunge at you with the Insta kill even if you try to back away.
Instakill I think is far worse in my opinion.

what i want to know is how a tiny woman's wrist cannon manages to do the same damage as an atlas shot.

Anyways, put me in for hand cannon. It's not as deadly, but it forces me to change up my game more than the Instakill.
