For the last time, NO, they didn't ripped off Deus Ex and if you don't know what PLOTHOLE means, DON'T MENTION THAT WORD.

I just find it humorous that he believes "Twilight fangirls" is an insult. Also that he believes all winter planetscapes would appear the same in separate individuals.

Ok, seriously now. Yeah, I am actually very amused, but that is neither here nor there.

But how hard would it have been for Bioware to create an alien landscape, like they did with the uncharted worlds in ME1 for example?

And regardless of that stupid pic, could you explain how those endings actually make sense? Other than the fact that the Reapers are incredibly stupid and/or insane? I'm actually looking forward to your arguments.

Those winter planetscapes look similar, but  the planet isnt the same, the trees arent the same and the lightning isnt the same. So theres no rip off.

I still love the way he thinks that saying Twilight Fangirls do not like the ending is insulting people.

Considering how badly written twilight is, saying that people who like Twilight do not like the endings implies that the endings are worse than Twilight  Way to ruin your own argument.

can't blame him for the extreme denial he has shown the last few days, the endings are so terrible i would not want to ever believe they are real

He considers them extremely well written, without plot holes, etc.
And apparently, we are all Twilight fangirls.

So you know Bioware has the means to create beautiful imagery, then you see both images and instantly think it's a rip off just because they look similar. They wanted to create an winter with a planetscape in the sky and they did it. Thats all.

Killer Galactic Space Library was a missed opportunity.

For shame, Bioware.

... are you actually ever going to answer any of our question/arguments? I don't even care about that pic.

What about the ending?

sooooo, let me get this straight. by your definition of "rip off" I could make a game like mass effect with vaguely the same story / gameplay etc. BUT change the names (shepard is shipard / mass effect is mars effect (see what I did there!)), the looks of everything (asori arent blue, but green!) and of course change the lightning (!) AND IT WOULDNT BE A RIP OFF?
THATS AMAZING

That's quite an interesting thought but not well developed. It's kinda stupid kill organic life just to keep their knowledge, technologies and resources, it has to have a better reason for that, but its interesting

Nope , you have to understand where he is comming from. he does not think we are twilight fangirls, he is saying we cry like twilight fangirls. It's sort of like my **** post. he can insult you, without actually committing to insulting you, because some people would consider being a twilight fangirl a compliment.......brilliant :D

And NO, they didn't ripped off Deus Ex, the endings MAY BE quite SIMILAR, but theyre not the same thing, so, there was NO rip off.

That's like saying, "THE SUN IS ORANGE WTF!!! IT'S YELLOW RED!!!?!??!!!11"

Stop whining, and accept it was not only ripped off, but the inbreeding colony idea came straight fro the new Battlestar Galactica.
