So I have bought two copies of Mass Effect 3 for PC, one regular copy on Origin so I could preload and play right at 12am...Then the N7 Collectors Edition on Amazon awhile back.

My question is...How exactly is the DLC delivered with the physical copy that I'm getting from Amazon? Can I put the DLC into the regular version of the game, or when I install the DLC will it just install to both versions? Or do I need to play the Collectors Version? Will Origin even let me have 2 versions of the same game?

I'm just wondering how all this is going to work. Does the DLC come with the Collectors Edition disc or does it come on the booklet or something..I haven't bought a boxed game in years.

Thanks in advance. Hopefully I can get things cleared up.

Hopefully they gonna add two DLC Codes (1 for Ashes and 1 for N7 Collectors Edition) to your CD so you can add them to your Origin Account via the Redeem Code option.

So are you saying you think that it'll be bundled within the Collectors Edition CD and I probably won't be able to redeem the codes on my Regular copy of ME3 I bought on Origin?

They'll just be codes - you'll download those add-ons after you've added the Product Codes to your account. You'll have to add the codes either via Origin or the Bioware site (not sure which).

Oh, I think they're on the Bioware site, since I have that Armor from the KoA demo listed there. But what you're saying is that they'll just be codes and I can input them on the Bioware site and then Download them just like the ME2 DLC?

Will the codes be on a booklet or something? On the disc? I've never dealt with DLC on a disc game before, not to mention I haven't bought a disc game in years.

They'll most likely come as codes on a card in the game box.  Enter them on Origin or here and your DLC will be added to your account.

You will get 3 codes on your CD: ME3 Code, Ashes Code and CE Code.

You will be able to add last two to any ME3 version you've activated on Origin. You can add DLCs to your Regular copy, it will gain all benefits of CE after you do so.

Or you can register a new Origin account, add the ME3 game code you get from your CD and attach DLCs to it. But hell, you can give the Code to a friend or even resell it for a small refund :)
