GRIFFONS! I agree entirely. There must be griffons even if there's no swimming, climbing, teleportation, nor flying in Dragon Age games.

DA:O with a few updated mechanics, more focus on non-combat abilities, and smaller but stronger groups of enemies. What I hated most was how easy it was to defeat the lieutenant rank enemies with little effort.

Oh and if the darkspawn show back up please return them back to their Original appearances, the new looks in DA2 were not improvements.

#1 - I noticed within about 2 hours of gameplay of DA2 that the choices I would make in the dialogue had little or no impact on the overall story.  It was as if all choices led to the same path.  DAO storyline was much more complex, with actual positive/negative outcomes to the storyline for each of the choices you make.  I'm not saying I'm all about the storyline, but what's the point of even having conversation prompts if you could just choose the first one of the 3 allowed responses each time, with no effect on the storyline?

#2 - For DA3, I would remove the whole "demon" subtheme (possession and all that stuff).  What makes Dragon Age so exciting is the Dragons and the whole medieval mage thing, not hell and demons.  I was fascinated by the "Fade" alternate world in DAO.  Too bad it didn't continue in DA2.  Move that whole "demon possession" subtheme and material off to another game.  I don't mean removing the classes, just the storyline elements.

#3 - more dragon encounters and a concentrated theme along Dragon lore.  I found actual encounters with Dragons to be sparse in DAO, and even more sparse in DA2 which was disappointing.  Try Skyrim with the "MOAR Dragons" mod... awesome.

No endless swarms of enemies popping out of the sky and ground wave after wave

Pls don't change the open option of talking with your followers (loved how I could interact with my companions in DA:O and it felt so hollow in DA2

I really love the whole Prince charming thing we had with Alistair and I really was left empty with the romance options in DA2

I really don't like having a timed healing option - if I need a healing potion I should be able to drink it like in DA:O

I really didn't enjoy the follower armor upgrade system in DA2 - it was too much work and unrealistic, to me

I really enjoy open world game play

I felt the story was extremely short and hollow (does that make it shallow? lol) in DA2 compared to DA:O

I preferred your DA:O levelling up system better than the DA2 one

The quests in DA:O, though fewer than in DA2, had much more detail and story behind them than running around for endless petty errands in the same area

Romance was hotter in DA:O

Personally, I liked the look of armor way better in Origins also

lol short & hollow = shallow, harhar, good one!! I agree with pretty much everything you said, with the exception of a few things that I just dont either remember or know about, like the follower armor upgrade.. didnt know you could upgrade their armor.. mm.. interesting.. I only read that their clothes change after you sleep with them.. makes me think wtf? lol guess they were ripped off in the heat of the moment..

I never really saw much of the armor in DA2, I was a mage, and then after I finished the game, I could not be arsed playing it again.. so yeah.. thats gotta tell bioware something..

I love bioware too, they coo, I loved them since baulders gate.. If I could of bought them I would of, microsoft could of offered all the money in the world and I would of said NO! :)

One idea bring back the Cunning/Intimidate and Coercion system it was fine just tune it up for different classes. And add more willpower actions. Second bring back the armor system and let us customize our party more. And last let our decsions make more of an impact than in the last two they didn't really feel like they impacted that much. I hope its a great game.

Make the story more like DAO. In DA2 the first like 13 hours was just trying to earn 50 sovereigns. IN DAO by that time i had already completed my origin story, completed ostagar, and got invested in an amazing, mature story. As far as combat goes I'm fine either way. I enjoyed the combat in both DAO and DA2 so either way I'll be content. Though if it goes the DA2 route I want less enemies randomly falling down from the sky. Just sayin.

Also I'd love the option to be able to talk to my companions whenever I want to instead of when the game allows me to. I loved the characters in DAO and loved talkthing to them about small little things, like Leliana's obsession with shoes. In DA2 I could only talk to the characters after certain main events occured or after I gave a character a certain gift. That really annoyed me. I want more freedom to interact with the characters I'm supposed to connect with.

I'd also like the game to be more open world. Not necessarily as open world as a game like Skyrim. But I want more then always walking to the end of  a narrow corridor for practically every mission.

And also I would like the romance aspect to be more fleshed out. I want something a bit more then the "clothes on while doing it approach." Obviously I don't expect, nor do I want, anything as hardcore as porn. But I think that the original ME proved that sex scenes can be done in a mature, tasteful way without going overboard. And also I'd love more options to talk to my LI as well as learn about their backstory.

But the thing I want back the most is the inclusion of origin stories again.

Wow....that was a lot of typing lol.

your right what a mouthful, lol careful or you'll end up like me.. lol.. most things you mentioned has been mentioned before, but its always good to see how much support there is for certain things people loved about the game's.

still I disagree about equipping your partys armor like in origins, it just takes too long, as I mentioned tho, I wouldnt mind finding or buying single pieces of equipment to change their look / armor class..

but whatever its cool either way.. I just cant believe origins took me like 100 hours.. I really dont feel like theres really more than 30 ro 40 hours worth of play & exploration... lol its all that saving and reloading I did..

our choices must have more impact, more bareing on the game.. im playing deux ex atm, havent done much, but the way it reads on the bob it sounds like it should play out that way.. this is what it says "Evolving choices and consequences" that to me is what we want to see in dragon age.. come on bioware you can do it!! I believe in you..

Not to be awfully specific (Oh what am I saying? This is very specific.) Can we get some clean up on our origin epilogues? I mean.. Our epilogues did clash a bit with the main storyline. Or at least have them involved in some way. Did the circle-tower in Orzammar ever get built? I won't continue, in risk of spoilers.

Anyway, I really hope the witch hunt DLC has some relevance. I don't want it to be disregarded if my Warden went with Morrigan..

DA2's story felt disjointed, DA3 should connect the 3 chapters, also More customization and let us choose our race again. I hope they take out the Rivalry/Friendship system. Also We need more Consequences, seemed like no matter what I choose it still led to the same Outcome.

I do not like open world games. I do not want to wander around looking for a place. I have a GPS in real life, so I would not get lost. I would like more locations, but not an open world game. Beside it is no such thing as an open world game. You cannot travel the entire world.in Skyrim. You are stuck in Skyrim,. I want more detail in the scenery.
Dragon Age 2 story was too short, but it was way better story than Dragon Age:Oriigns. I hate stories that are basically let's gather our forces and fight or storm the castle.
I think an armor crafting system would be fine, but not necessary.
I like being able to choose which armor our companion wears. Again, it is not necessary. I would just be if they had three unique sets for each companion
If you play a Blood Mage, it should have an impact on the game.
Games have an ending, but I guess people were not happy how the ending came about in Dragon Age 2. Dragon Age: Origins still ended with you having to fight the ArchDemon. It is not like you have the choice at the end to go to Orlais. I guess give people so other choice prior to the exact ending, so they will not complain.
I would rather have a combination of dialogue system from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2. I hated the fact that in Dragon Age: Origins, you could plenty much empty out the dialogue tree, before you were half way finished with the game.
More politics. I enjoy the politics and the double dealing in Dragon Age 2.
There is nothing wrong with same day dlcs either.

Bioware please don't give another infatile and whiny boy who need a mommy. I romanced Zevran and Anders because they have their opinions.
My dream romance option Varric/ James Vega type.

Qunari ftw!! Wid hot female counterparts...

geez those desire demons are hot aint they? lol.. just me? ah well.. I wouldnt mind shacking up wid one o them unless it ment losing my will.. which would mostly be the case heh, but then theres always the exception.. kinda like in DA2 this chick tries to mind control you kinda thing, and you almost "pretend" to be affected, then, kinda laugh in her face lol...

to ladyofpayne, everyone has their opinions.. everyone.. you just happened to of liked theirs the best I gather.. alister was pretty cool, funny guy.. had me almost in stitches, but not quite..

I honestly didnt really like any of the female companions in DA2, and only really Leilana in Origins.. so no, not much choice.. I did go with morrigan once, but eh, I found her hiding in a dlc, lol, she was dead to me.. and so.. well ya know.. ;)

give me a real woman, not some dumb elvan wannabe deals with the devil kinda psycho lol..

I loved the accents for the dalish.. welsh? irish? w/e awsome heh..

I want a sexy sweet to me, rough on everybody else, walks the low path, (jade empire heh) kinda rules with strength, not overly evil, but maybe a tad.. kinda fiesty firey chicka c. jea ju no me ahee. ;P lol, but seriously tho.. I guess a cross between Morrigan and Leilana mmm..

kinda like the chick in act 2 who I met for a minute while interrigating some guy, I gave him a few smacks, lol.. ugh that was pretty cool.. till shortly after.. :( *sniff* o well.. w/e..

o and dessaline? I agree, no open world.. just big areas instead like in origins... but eh.. im fine really if they made them small but kinda long like in DA2.. least I never really missed anything, and saved alot of time that way too.. guess im more in favour of the DA2 areas.. again w/e, no biggie

quick edit... ooo I just had a thought, why not add the drows? they are cool, I loved the one I fell for in Baulders gate shadows of ahm.. such a deep story that game had.. I turned her down so many times before she almost gave up..

people try that game, its wicked!!!!!!!!!!!

hey bioware, make me a char, names Vadrok I came up with it by using 2 letters from each of my full name, not bad huh? I like it ^^ heh ;P XD

Pretty much take the combat system from DA2, the character creation and story/social system from DAO, the dialogue system from the Mass Effect series, the open world from Skyrim, and then gift wrap it in the cooperativity of The Old Republic, and by george you have yourself a game.

My ideas for DA3 revolve around a few things.

1. I want to play as a Seeker. I don't know why, but they seem like an interesting group.

2. I would like to see the Mage vs Templar conflict continued full out. (A ridiculously obvious idea)

3. Make the player care about both the Templars and the Mages. No more "Mages are oppressed and the Templars are evil for that" crap, I want to see heroes and villains on both sides of the conflicts. Characters who make you question whether your side is the right one (if the Mage vs Templar path is taken).

4. The combat system of DA2 is perfectly fine (I quite enjoy it from what I've played) and I would like to see a stronger sense of balance between classes. Mages can still tend to be OP, but they need to be toned down somewhat as well as the Rogues and 2-handed warriors. Us S&S people need to be able to do something in this combat system.

5. An expansion to the crafting system. I love crafting systems in RPGs and want to see Dragon Age's expanded. Something along the lines of those found in Skyrim or some Japanese made RPGs would be great.

That's all I can think of for now.

1. Please let us play as a Seeker! This is probably my biggest "wish" for DA3. The inner Chantry politics seem fascinating, and making us a Seeker would give us an excuse to go on all sorts of missions, which leads me to my next point...

2. Traveling! I want to experience a wide variety of environments this time aroud, instead of being limited to just one city. I wouldn't mind if the entire game takes place in Orlais (though I REALLY want to see Tevinter); just try to make the environments exciting.

3. Cullen as a LI! This man has a huge fanbase, so you might as well make use of it.

4. Please don't be afraid to answer some questions. I get that Flemeth is supposed to be this big mysterious figure, but you can only drag the Flemeth-Morrigan plotline on for so long before the whole thing starts to remind everyone of Lost. Giving vague cryptic responses doesn't please anyone. You can still leave some mystery while answering some questions, instead of frustrating players who will start to believe that you don't even know where you're going with their plotline.

5. Make the conflict grey. One of my biggest problems with DA2 was that both sides were exagerrated to almost cartoonish levels of violence and stupidity. Both sides have legitimate points; don't be afraid to address them. Have some templars and mages actually act like reasonable adults instead of tempermental fools.

I will add to the pile my one idea for companions. Make pairs that exclude each other. Like I meet two conflicted people - example... example... a freedom fighter and a slaver from Thavinter. They fight in a quest. I must choose who I support and the other one leaves (or dies). So the one I decided to help stays in the party.
And one more... thing. More ships like a whole chapter that takes place on a big ship, or in docks. :) Isabella was a pirate girl and I have not seen her once on a boat.

Oh, another idea that I just thought of...one that I really think needs to be included...

The ability to choose which hand is dominant for my character. I'm a lefty and am tired of always having to play as right-handed characters.
