If I'm not mistaken, DA3 will be a war between mages and templars. Your idea of making it possible for the pc to be a Qunari sounds interesting. Why should female Qunari be petite?  Should they be sexualized like the Dwarven women were?  Some sexual dimorphism is normal, but dramatic size differences between males and females is usually indicative of a more primitive stage in the evolution of a species ( as it was with humans hundreds of thousands of years age).

A really good Idea for Dragon Age 4 would be a war among Darkspawn where you play as a Darkspawn. You would either serve the free Darkspawn under the Architect (or whoever took his place), or you would be one of the savage ones serving someone like the Mother from Awakenings.

Why should the female qunari be petite, its simple, I think they'd look hot heh ;P just like those desire demons.. I myself wouldnt want to get into a relationship with the "Hulk" lol.. even the she hulks pretty petite.. my favourite kinda candy is that which you eat with your eyes..

man its pretty beautiful on the wounded coast, its pretty much the only area where I stopped and looked up for awhile.. they did a great job with the sky.. I havent really done that since the old KOTOR's..

If I could I'd be playing as a male Qunari right now... a warrior most probably... then a seerabas next I love their deep voices.. their horns.. makes sten in part one look silly.

Here's a question: Why do none of the Qunari in Origins and Awakenings have horns? Sten is said to be atypical because he lacked horns, but so do all the others. All the Qunari mercenaries are hornless. So we're Sten's travel companions (we saw what they looked like in the fade in Sten's nightmare). The Qunari merchant in Awakenings was also hornless.

Here's another question: Why did male Dwarves go from being stout in DA1 to being pot-bellied in DA2?

I think it's because they lacked the design concepts, and it wasnt untill part 2 that they actually had something they were really happy with, thank goodness for that.

its just the way it goes sometimes ya know? generally its always for the better, and in the case of the qunaris I'd have to agree, I never thought much of sten, I still dont, but I've loved pretty much all the qunari's in DA2 which I think is a decent game, lots of improvements, I love the combat more now, the relationships not so much,

anders that crazy mofo lol..

I think also I heard that bioware let another company take creative control in DA2 & thats why its got such a mixed love hate responce to it, that would also explain your questions, if its true that is.

not that I spent much time looking at varrics gut but he seemed pretty stout to me, & I thought was one of the best dressed.

It did suck only being able to play as a human.. I thought I could import my chars, but it turns out its the "history" only, I must be missing something... how can one reach the level cap of 50? I recently finished the game, I went to start a new game and im pretty sure I couldnt import him... maybe if I had finished the game with a human in origins...

anyways I'm taking it back to the shop today, I only own origins which I now wish I had on pc, all those mods... mmm..

I see. To me, it seems like the only way to make it jive with the DA1 story would be for the Qunari government to expel all of their hornless people (or to have some sort of teaching where hornless people are taught to venture away from home).

All of your points sounded good except for the summoned animals gaining experience. They're just temporary companions. A ranger that summons say, a bear, may summon many bears over time. One thing that they could change is to have the summoned animal return to where it came from when you de-summon it (either back into the wilderness or back to it's world). That would be better than it dying. I always pretend that it goes home.

As for being good or bad, DA3 should have something of an alignment system similar to Dungeons and Dragons (lawful good, good, neutral good, neutral, neutral evil, evil, and lawful evil). You could start off with a certain alignment, and over time your decisions would either reinforce it or change it. For certain decisions, you would need to specify your motivations. For example, a good human and an evil elf would both want to kill the Tevinter slave trader in DA1 (the good human is opposed to slavery while the evil elf sees it as a racial conflict but under other circumstances would support humans being enslaved).

I must clarify, about the summoned creatures, I did not mean that they should earn xp for themselves, but for you and your allies, I think they may do possibly on pc, but not on either console, if you were to have a party of 3 rangers + 3 summoned creatures, a skeleton and a limited # of creatures in the entire game I think most people like myself who want to gain all the levels possible, would want the xp from things that are killed by your summoned creatures.

I do agree with you about them going back to the wilds or something rather than just dying. I thought that was pretty lame when I first unsummoned a creature and watched as it fell over dead heh. why couldnt it just dissapear in a great flash of light? guess it was just easier for the programmers huh.

I like your thoughts about the allignment system, tho im not sure about having to specify my motivations for doing whatever I want at any given time, it almost sounds like choosing an option and then the game asking me but why? you must have a reason, your a bad guy, you cant let them live, or go, or whatever you know? so, eh, maybe I just dont fully get it but it sounds interesting :)

tho now you've got me thinking about the summoned creatures I think as well as earning party xp, every 10 25, 50, 75 and 100 kills that a creature gets, they should earn themselves a new attack, lets be honest, its pretty boring them just swiping or biting, or w/e the spider does.. I'd love to see a bear charging through the enemy lines, knocking them down, even standing up on 2 legs and bear hugging, ect, epic.

I definitely like the idea of party members earning experience from summoned minions. That's a great idea. They should also gain experience points from guarded treasure, like in Dungeons & Dragons. For example, if an enemy guards a treasure chest with 100 silver pieces, you should get experience for killing the guard plus 100 experience points for the treasure (one for each silver piece). In D&D, a gold piece is worth less, so you usually get one exp per guarded gold piece. you also get exp for guarded treasure, and your exp gained is based on the monetary value of the treasure in gold.

I hear that, I love the idea, as the more xp the merrier I be lol ;P the link in my first post has been changed, not sure if you've found the main ideas thread, its got like 5 stars and people adding things all the time, im about to go see what some guy posted like 13 minutes ago..

D&D huh... which one are you talking about? have you ever played Baulders Gate: Shadows Of Ahm? I highly recommend that game.. tho I think its a shame it was never continued.. sure it was a stand alone, but dang, I so wished for a second.. im probably going to try finish it again when I get my new pc, but yeah, its a pretty long game, awsome story.. I hooked up with in 2 seperate games, the drow, and the angel type girl. and even if you turn the drow down a few times assuming you continue to show interest she will continue asking to sleep with you, the storys pretty deep. even tho its pretty old now, the magic missle looks alot better than it has done in recent games. mm ftw!!

D&D had those choose-your-own-adventure books, but the pencil and paper game that I played involved two or more people. One was the Dungeon Master, and everyone else was a player.

BTW, I'll bet that Dragon Age 3 will have something to do with "Sandal's prophecy". Here it is:

I'd like to see a game made on the first blight. The begining of the grey wardens, Would be nice to see them griffins too. lol

Would like to see dragonage ditch the mass effect style conversation wheel. The conversation system in origins was much more effective for me.

To be completely honest, I just want to play as the grey warden again. I didn't care much for Hawke
