Is the Gold subscription purchased from them digital? Still trying to decide what to do with the $10.

Amazon is the only one I trust to get me any game's CE at launch. Not to mention they don't kill you on shipping fees.

Yeah, Amazon just told me that Release Date delivery's not a thing for which my PS3 CE is eligible, so it'll have to be Wednesday for me.

I've been using Prime release date shipping for games for more than a year and that is always what they do.  It'll say it has shipped sometime tomorrow and UPS will deliver it on Tuesday.  I've only ever had a game miss the release date once, and that was because the plane it was on was grounded for maintenance, so it was a day late.

Yeah, Star Craft II was delayed for me because of a flood. Would have been funny if it was Halo.

It should be tomorrow (Monday).  Amazon is usually pretty tight on the "not billed until shipped" thing.

Same here, it was for Red Dead Redemption, got here a day late due to snow grounding the flight the game was on, amazon actaully called me, and gave me a $10 credit to put toward any item on their website for the inconvience, so its a win/win with amazon.

I
should have complained or something I guess.  I didn't get anything for
the late delivery of Catherine.  Come to think of it, the grounded
flight problem doesn't make a whole lot of sense in my case since
according to UPS the game was located in the city where it would have
been placed on a truck for delivery to my place.  So either the tracking
was inaccurate or UPS didn't unload the plane.

They added it relatively recently, and sent an email to those with existin orders.  $10 toward your next purchase is one of Amazon's more common pre-order bonuses.

Best Buy didn't win any points with me on my Arkham City preorder.  I went with them since they had a pretty good pre-order bonus.   Neither the online information for my local store, nore anybody I talked to on the phone know if that game was having a midnight release so I waited until the next morning.  Upon arriving at the desk to pick up my game I saw the midnight release listed on a little piece of paper.  I don't appreciate being delayed by faulty information.
