So, as we know there were two factions of geth -- crazy heretics and normal geth, rewriting heretics simply left one but more powerful faction. Peace basically depends on quarians, because geth sees no point in war. Quarians should be having more will to find peaceful solution, they are simply outnumbered by geth. On the other hand if your enemy is separated the victory is more likely -- establishing peace should be more problematic, why bother.

So as far as Mordin goes if I didnt keep the data and told him he can recreate it later, does that mean I can't help him cure it in ME3?

Not sure, but recreating data takes a lot of time.

I figured. It would be great to know if I can so in that way he can have an honorable death. I like Wrex and don't want to lie to him/fake him out

I actually rewrote them for having a larger fleet when the reapers arrived.

Having less Quarians is bad :-(.

This.

It is fitting to have more geth fleets, the quarian people are few, while the geth can rebuild

No. Wiks (that Salarian in charge of the facility on Surkesh) is the one who takes Mordin's spot if he's dead. You only get an email from Maelon if he survived and you go through with the cure.

I don't mind the Mordin thing at all. It's a very fitting way for him to go.

See, these kinds of choices I expected to have to make, over and over, and this is why what happens at the very end with the Normandy over and over, seemingly no matter what Shepard does, no matter what we do, if like a giant middle finger from the writers. It's like they looked at the end of the game and went "Oh crap! These guys survived to the end. Can't have that. It might be too happy." and so they were flung into the void no matter what.

This stuff doesn't bother me at all at least there's a purpose and reason for it.

And if this is accurate. I can already tell that there will be no possible peace in at least one of my games with the other three Sheps clinging to a thin shred of hope that they can still make peace.

And as far as the Wrex/Krogan thing is concerned ... there's no choice at all. Mordin is estremely old for a Salarian, and while I can't say that he wants to die, I do think he'd go so far as to make the ultimate sacrifice to reverse what was clearly an issue that never sat well with him in the first place. As to the data, I don't think any of my Sheps ever destroyed it.

I hope not. If he dies, I'm going to exterminate the quarians. Personally.

I rewrote the heretics (0 points), Tali isn't exiled (2 points), I resolved the Legion/Tali conflict either using the Paragon option (+1 point).

-N7 Mission: Save the Admiral on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point)
-N7 Mission: Destroy Geth Squadron on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point)
-Completed Legion's Mission in ME3 (or no peace)

Looks like I stand a chance.

I have 5 points for Geth and Quarian peace, and meet all REQUIRED points, however no matter what I do either Tali or Legion dies and only 1 race lives. How much rep do you need I am ALMOST maxed?

Guess I will have to do a bunch more missions before going there. Any idea WHEN the option to ally is? Is it when legion sacrifices himself, before, or after?

I rewrote the the Heretics (0 points), kept Tali from being exiled (+2 points), resolved Legion/Tali conflict either using the Paragon or Renegade options (+1 point), N7 Mission: Save the Admiral on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point), N7 Mission: Destroy Geth Squadron on Rannoch in ME3 (+1 point), and completed Legion's Mission in ME3 (or no peace) - (total of 5 points) and paragon levels were extremely high but I still didn't get peace. That's some bull ****.

If you have any thoughts please help.

So, how DO you edit a save game? I rewrote the heretics with the thought that such an option would enable me to make peace between the Quarians and Geth.  It appears from the phrasing in the guide, that if you rewrote the heretics instead of destroying them, you don't have the option of making peace. :(

If someone wouldn't mind PMing me, that would be great.

Well, I had been romancing Tali in ME2 and 3.

- Tali didn't get exiled
- Rewrote heretics.
- Resolved her tension with Legion (Paragon)
- Saved Zaal'Koris
- Went into Legion's Virtual Reality  to stop the fighter squadrons (why is it written in the OP like a separate from squadron destruction?).

When the time comes to upload the code, I thought that's where the peace would come up, so I got kind of scared that I missed something, anyway, I told Legion to upload the code and while he's uploading and Tali is begging him to stop, then came the options (along with the Paragon/Renegade resolve).
Chose the Paragon one and... peace. Image IPB

This is driving me crazy... No matter what I do, I cannot get peace between them, and i refuse to settle for anything less (primarily because legion dying? nope.avi).

For my shep:
Tali wasn't exiled
I rewrote the heretics
I'm 99% sure I resolved the tali/legion conflict with a renegade persuade (and I will be megapissed if I didn't, and just re-earned one of their loyalties afterwards and that's what's preventing this... because this shep was imported from me1 with maxed renegade and paragon bars, so she should have been able to use that persuade by that point in the game. even if she didn't, I feel like I remember using gibbed to edit the points for one of my sheps just so I could solve that properly, so it might've been her...)
Saved the peace admiral
Did legion's mission on rannoch (which was awesome, hnnnng)
And above all, my reputation bar is literally full. 75% renegade, 25% paragon.

Yet NO WHERE in that ending sequence do I get the option to persuade anybody. Not even a greyed-out persuade. Help, please? If I can't figure this out then I'm just gonna have to abandon this playthrough until a save editor comes along and I can use that to set things right. :C I have another shepard I could play, but that would mean restarting, and she rewrote the heretics too.
