So basically at the end of the Eragon series The main characters go up to the villain and basically show him all the pain he's caused through his supposedly "justified" acts. This pretty much makes him go crazy and blow up a nuke. My question is, why couldn't they have done this with ME? Have Legion/friendly geth just completely overload the Reapers with information that disproved the necessity of their cycle. Then they could just magically explode like Tom Riddle.

Because everything proved them correct really, especially the Protheans.
