Or should i say EAware. Many people
have played and beaten mass effect 3 and every single one of them
agrees the endings are the worst pieces of **** ever written. According
to posts the writer of me1 and me2 had nothing to do with this game. I
have watched the endings myself and can say i wouldn't even play
this piece of **** for free. Everyone thought the problems with the old republic was
because it was bioware texas not bioware canada. But the problem is
EAware. They will never make another good game again. All you will get
are Dragons age 2 type trash. If you get ME3 it will be for the
multiplayer but why? Get uncharted 3 since its the same
multiplayer. Just like me3 is a complete rip off Deus Ex endings and hack writers that saw princess bride on to many times.
Now Ea will spend a fortune bribing/blackmailing reviewers for 10's and
everyone who plays this **** will PISSED. So many people are going to
feel so robbed by bioware between the failed expectations of swtor and
now the complete destruction of mass effect that no one will ever buy
anything with the bioware name on it. Personally i'd never buy anything
with the EA logo on it again but that's me. Ea will still make money.
After all when is the last time anyone said anything good about a
michael bay movie. Yet they still make half a billion every
time.........
My problem is the level of stupidity from bioware. Seriously, no one in
this guild as far as i know is a professional writer yet no one in this
guild could have done worse than what bioware came up with for me3. NO
ONE. And the **** they break/screw up with swtor are things so easily
avoidable or fixed yet they **** it up time and time again. My biggest
pet peeve is incompetence and bioware is rife with it. Mass effect 3
could have been great but they got rid of the writer..... swtor could
have been great but... god where do i start. I can't remember the last
time i said to myself wow that was fun.
This michael bay era of just throwing utter **** at people and having
them eat it up as long as they make it more shiny then the last turd has
got to go.
Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and make it shiny, I will.
I've got spare time. But for now, for your sake, for your children's
sake, ya might wanna think about buying a quality product from now on.

Inb4Lock, but sadly I agree.
Luckily for us, Bioware's next game is C&C. and with TOR, they hopefully will never have a new IP to kill.
I used to be a BioWare fan, then I took a bad RPG to the face.

They've changed, obviously. But they're not dead yet.
Also, EVERYONE?!
Sorry, but a lot of people don't agree, even some on these forums by their own posts.

Dude, the game's premise rides on the endings. The whole point of doing everything you can. 300 hours down the drain. Only an inconsiderate, sadistic idiot likes it.
Destroy the end, destroy Mass Effect. End of story.

LOL someone seems to have issues.
Also if by "**** like DA2" you mean a game that was tons better then the last one, i gotta agree.

Stop over exaggerating things and quit your whining. The writer's at Bioware are quite talented, and to call them trash because you disagree with the games ending is stupid.

Obviously your head canon is sacred (if you are even telling the truth). What you need to do is go into the wilderness like legend says Jesus did and try to survive 40 days without food and water. Then your authority cannot be questioned.

Wasn't this obvious as soon as EA acquired them?
Dragon Age 2, then SWTOR, and now these endings. Bioware has lost all credibility.

This is exactly why I think things are off. What does pulling off this stunt gain them? They lose all their old fans based on some prediction that they can be replaced by new fans? I don't know maybe what has been shown is true but is BioWare really willing to go all out and screw everybody out there who played ME1&2. Why would they do this? So far nobody has given any valid reason as to why they would do such an insane thing. This isn't DA we're dealing with either, its Mass Effect, it is way bigger than DA. They screw up with this and they might as well close their doors, nobody is going to forgive this.
Then there's the fact that they've been doing interviews and all that talking about how great their game is and telling people not to believe what is going on in here. This mess is already big enough, there's a thread with about 11,000-12,000 mostly angry responses and no answers from BioWare. Why add more fuel? The review sites I've seen have given the game good scores and don't say that they don't know about this mess because every time something like this has happened it has made the front page in places like IGN, I'd assume that they're saying nothing because either they can't or they know something else.
The people who've played it, have so far not freaked out about either, doesn't that seem strange to anyone. There are simply too many inconsistencies, I hope that something else is going on and that all this mess is simply the result of that stupid Space Edition bull****. If I were in such a mess I wouldn't be lying to people through interviews and other things, I would be keeping my mouth shut IMO.
EDIT: Aside from all this, I'm done with BioWare/EA as I'm sure many will be as well. This mess, the previous leaks and the POS that DA2 was have made me question if BIoWare can be trusted. I knew I was going to be done with them after ME3 anyways, regardless of what may or may not be.

IGN is not allowed to write anything bad about flagship games for EA. Either EA would refuse to give them advanced copies of games so that other review sites would get the jump on them or they would sue or both. Instead of any ending the screen could fade to black near the end and say screw you jokes on you we didn't finish the game thanks for the money suckers... And ign would commend their choice of colored font as genius.

You people and your "BIOWARE IS DOOMED!" It's like watching Republican debates. "If Obama gets elected in 2012, America is going to be destroyed by nuclear Iran!" OHS NOES.
Stop it with your lame, conspiratorial, doom saying about the fate of BioWare. It's ridiculous. This constant attack on EA is also plain childish. I used to mock EA all the time...12 years ago when I was a 14 year old kid. Then I grew up and got over it. You don't like the game? Don't frelling play it. You don't like EA? Don't buy their games. What does this thread accomplish? Absolutely nothing.
The only thing that is the same between all the endings is the gods damned Mass Relays exploding. The LI flashback and the gods damned crew being on the Normandy even if you stationed them elsewhere is an obvious frelling bug. Get over it already.

Gotta say I was actually very surprised at how disappointing TOR was. I thought they'd at least get the story aspect right... but no, 90% of the quests are exactly the same as the generic kill/collect/deliver quests we got from WoW 7 years ago... only with voiced dialogue instead of a box of text.
I still love em as a company though. They've made some of my favorite games prior to DA2 and TOR.

I would have disagreed with you before dragon age 2 came out, but now i think you have a point. I've been defending bioware for a long time, always thinking they wanted to give their fans what they wanted. I just don't understand why they would give us the endings that they did, with almost no differences. And the normandy stranded every. single. time.

I've been a big fan of Mass Effect. For them to come this far a destroy it for the most anticipated ending. Or plot, I wish they kept the Reapers motives a mystery. I liked them better that way, and not completely ruin the ending. I won't get into it but wtf BioWare? Whhhhhyy

Gotta assume it's EA. Greed is bad. It ruins innovation and creativity. And you end up with garbage. SWTOR is a single player game with stretched out game play thanks to horrible wow like side quests that you have to pay 15 bucks a month for. End endgame aka level 50 content is so bad over half the people have already canceled and most servers are ghost towns. That's the kind of quality product you can expect from an EA owned company from now on.

who are these MANY PEOPLE....how many constitutes MANY PEOPLE? DO i know them?
if the endings are true...AND they are the only endings in the game....i think people will be upset... ONLY because a happy ending was left out. Will i hate on Bioware...nope...ill be alil upset. From the footage I have seen....streamed and on youtube...there are some glitches...but i dont know if it is because the game was pirated or because it needs to be patched....BUT IT LOOKS STELLAR!! a few unhappy endings arent going to kill my love of Mass Effect...and I wont be wanting to burn a Bioware flag in protest.
IF ME3 turns out to be as BAD as DA2...then i will be singing a different tune of course...but i BELIEVE DA2 is a isolated incident.
Just because the endings are unhappy...doesnt mean they are BAD and how much of a fan can you be if the last 20 minutes ruins 100+hours of gameplay. add in....Bioware listens to fans (GOOD AND BAD)...so im positive something is either in the works...or already started to placate people.

I thought Bioware was going down hill back with Neverwinter Nights. Come to find out, they actually made the Mass Effect series which is my favorite modern game series.
They will continue to make good games. They will continue to make bad games. Like they always have. Because there is no such thing as a perfect game company.
