Gotta assume it's EA. Greed is bad. It ruins innovation and creativity. And you end up with garbage. SWTOR is a single player game with stretched out game play thanks to horrible wow like side quests that you have to pay 15 bucks a month for. End endgame aka level 50 content is so bad over half the people have already canceled and most servers are ghost towns. That's the kind of quality product you can expect from an EA owned company from now on.

MMO gamers don't like innovation.  Every MMO that has tried to be even slightly different from the WoW formula has ultimately failed miserably.  SWTOR is at least doing much better than that.

EA is a corporation, and what they are doing isn't greed.  Greed is when you suck money out of people without their consent.  Such as corporations calling for lower taxes on themselves, while lobbying to increase taxes on the actual taxpayer.  Or banks going bankrupt, using taxpayer money to get out of bankruptcy, and not paying the taxpayer back for all of that money while allowing their executives to make record bonuses.  That's greed.

Making a video game to make more money is capitalism.  What you hate sir, is capitalism.

Dude, the game's premise rides on the endings. The whole point of doing everything you can. 300 hours down the drain. Only an inconsiderate, sadistic idiot likes it.

Destroy the end, destroy Mass Effect. End of story.

Well boo hoo. I think the endings are fine, if you felt Bioware let you down then thast's on you.

Sorry OP but I can't wait to play this game.
Everything I 've seen so far looks good (yes, I even think the endings are strong).
This will not be another DA2 (wich I somehow managed to enjoy anyway, even if vastly inferior to it's predecessor but that's not the point), I really think that this game will deliver.
Most of the complaints about the ending so far were connected to the fact that the main characters will lose almost everything in the process of bringing down a menace comparable to apocalypse.
You will not be able to remain with your love interest in a hut on top of a green hill but, hell I do prefer this darker epilogue.
Bioware showed great courage writing something like this and, for that, they have my respect.

You don't have to suck up to them. They will not hire you nor wil lthey even acknowledge your exsistance. It's ok   let it go ;)

People seem to forget its a game series about choices and at the end of 3 games we learn all we do means ****. Nothing at all. It ends how hack writers planning for the invevitable ****ty mmo spin off want it to. Do al lquests put in 100 + hours **** ending. Never play the other games do only main story missions   **** ending. Me2 had it right. What you did/built up for the whole game mattered and affected the outcome. You got a range from Perfect ending to sad. Even if one of them could not carry over who cared it was in there for the sake of having peoples choices matter.

They've changed, obviously. But they're not dead yet.

Also, EVERYONE?!

Sorry, but a lot of people don't agree, even some on these forums by their own posts.

This. Hyperbole to the max. I love it, and my friends who've seen love it as well.

A less-than-stellar ending and a few questionable design choices does not justify the dissolution of Bioware, especially when they could potentially fix these flaws in the future through patches and DLC.

It's okay to have irrational hatred for a corporation?  But if you enjoy the game, enjoy the endings, you're somehow defending them and want to get a job with them?

if i had know on day 1 playing ME1 that this was going to be a kobayashi maru type deal were nothing i did mattered i wouldn't have wasted my time. Same as many others.

If only this was like skyrim where someone could just make their own and overwrite/delete the bioware's endings.

Yes, I like what Bioware gave me so I must be a suck up **** incapable of forming my own opinions. Seriously, growp up.

And you do have choice, and your choice does matter. Just not in the way you had hoped apparently.

How is this a "no win scenario"?  You can defeat the bad guys.  Your people can survive.  The galaxy can live on.  Just without the mass relays, but they still have FTL.  So clusters will be cut off, unfortunately.  But within clusters, there are still thousands or millions of stars that are only a day or a few weeks travel away.

from the endings that I read they all seem logical and fit it perfectly and make sense. dont see why everyone is on edge and getting all P'Oed.

I would agree but it's happening over and over. DA2, SWTOR, ME# these things are being made to be flashy with 0 heart. It's a trend that will continue.]

The ending was obviously going to suck, with the amount of tension it built up there was no possible way it could live up to everybody's expectations. But don't worry, whoisthis, posts like yours are what's probably going to give them the push to release some sort of alternate endings DLC.

I laughed at the part "many people played it"... really? the game isn't even out yet.
What is many people? 50? That's freaking nothing, so get your stick out of your ass and either a) boycott or B) play yourself and judge yourself.

YES Another one of these thread Keep 'em coming. They all are justifiable, and they all get the Gearseffect stamp of approval. I wouldn't buy a DLC for a better ending because I don't think they'd fix the problem.

The Problem is this is not the same ME as ME1 and 2. It's something different.

I personally would love to see Casey Hudson say Yeah we really lost our minds while making ME3 but don't worry fans we plan to make things right in 2 years with ME3 2.0. Just like Mass Effect Deception 2.0.

What a shame. Ah well i'm done here good luck to people pushing bioware to correct their massive screw up. But i don't think they are listening/care. As i will never buy another product from these people i will not be returning here ever again. Next stop D3 i guess. Blizzard still gives a **** at least. I hope.
