denial that the endings arent everyone's cup of tea? or denial that this is Bioware's coffin nail?

What a shame. Ah well i'm done here good luck to people pushing bioware to correct their massive screw up. But i don't think they are listening/care. As i will never buy another product from these people i will not be returning here ever again. Next stop D3 i guess. Blizzard still gives a **** at least. I hope.

You are true to some extent. DA2, TOR, ME2 endings (wtf were the point of the collectors?), ME3 endings, the novels, the comics... Something is wrong here.

The people who are so insistant on defending BioWare and just close their eyes/cover their ears, and say everything is perfect (yes, the endings too). Even though BioWare's last two games were terrible.

DA2: i havent gotten past the 6 hour point on any of my 3 characters...cant do it.
TOR: i still want to know how a MMO is supposed to end. I mean.....MMO's never end!!
ME2: the "ending" was great! It wasnt supposed to be a TRUE ending....just a close for the 2nd/middle part of a trilogy. Being mad at it is like those individuals that got mad at the ending Empire Strike Back or Two Towers.

the novels were dry to say the least...tough reads. the comics...well...written by the same people that wrote the comics. the comics are fillers not full on stories.

one last thing  (excerpt taken from another forum)

Bioware's core fanbase will likely turn against them after completing Mass Effect 3.

MUCH MORE importantly, expect to see a massive exodus of Bioware staff in a few months. Just look at how many Bioware employees left the company within the past year alone:

Christina Norman
Jesse Houston
Ginny McSwainn
Drew Karpyshyn

And these are just the big names I can think of right off the top of my head. After ME3, what does Bioware have going for them?

Dragon Age III? Like hell this will sell anywhere near the success of Origins, after the ****storm of DAII.

Command & Conquer: Generals 2? This is an RTS, not an RPG that Bioware is known for. Furthermore, the C&C fanbase was irreparably destroyed by Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight. No chance in hell this game will approach the kinds of sales numbers EA wants.

Rumors of a new Balder's Gate? Who in this current COD-generation of gamers even knows what Balder's Gate is?

Bioware's future is looking very uncertain after Mass Effect 3.

I enjoyed DA2.. It just wasn't DAO. But what the person quoted above I thought the collectors were pretty clear. The reapoer and Saren failed in ME1 and The collectors were a back up plan, making the new reaper early to destroy oraganic life. Yet superior tech failed again and human-reaper was killed. Then there was Acension and that failed due to a solar system being blown up. SO the reapers then ran out of options and were like "****. Okay everyone start floating."

In regards to ME2, Im talking about the human reaper and how stupid the suicide mission was.

so what are you saying? BW shouldnt make anymore fantasy or scifi and should make COD clones to cater to COD fans? I thought this was one of the big beefs against BW and EA.

The suicide mission wasn't stupid...just Shepard.

Does the current Mass Effect-generation of gamers even remember how much of a disappointment the single-player camapign in Neverwinter Nights was?

The only good part of the game was some of the player-made content.

People act like Bioware is new to "making mistakes".

If TOR fails, I'll bet we'll be seeing another westwood/pandemic scenario.

Thats why i said i hope. I was unaware of anyone leaving the project. Besides if there is anything that bioware has now taught us it's that you wait till a game comes out listen to the people Praises/complains then make your choice to get it or not. **** pre order scam BS. I wil lwait til lafter d3 is out and if all looks good i'll get it. If not then...... Bioshock infinite is the next game that should be good that i can think of off the top of my head.

The founders of Bioware probably don't care honestly. They're already swimming in all the money they made off the EA deal. I mean look at the making of movie of Mass Effect 2 and you have Ray Muzyka I think going on about the huge variety of weapons and equipment in game. I dunno if they showed him some other build which had the huge variety of weapons, but it sure wasn't the final product that I played.

Except that their big boss is chilling the Citadel all along. Yet for some reason they decided, oh let's just leave him in there, but make it so he can't do anything in effect imprisoning him for some reason lol

Or it will become free to play like some of the other MMOs that EA invested in and Bioware will stick to single player games.

Even if ME3 is train-wreck people at BSN want it to be because they can't be with their alien waifus, it will be a finacial sucess for both Bioware and EA.

Yeah but they admitted that the OC was tacked on later in development and they ended up making two excellent expansion packs

Because Warhammer Online is F2P right? Oh wait... and yes, ME3 will be a financial success, no doubt about it.

Wasn't WAR F2P?
