 I start the demo, the ESRB thing and the short vid go fine, then when I hit the main screen the fps drops to less than 1 and stays there.  No matter what the video settings.

Works fine on a lesser laptop of my brother's, so the specs shouldn't be an issue.

Odd thing is, when I check on my GPU load, it says 0%, with only a few MB above idle for its memory usage.


I checked online, and the only thing similar was related to Nvidia's battery saving option for laptops, bu this is a desktop.  And as far as I can see, there is no option in the control panel I have (Nvidia default for 400 series GPU) to force the Nvidia card over the integrated.


Any help would be appreciated.  I can provide more specific details if that will help solve this, I just don't know what mroe to provide right now.

Uninstall then reinstall your video drivers and see if that helps.
