Hi all,
So, in anticipation for Mass Effect 3, I decided to do a fresh playthrough of both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Yes, I realize this may be a bit late in coming, considering the game is out in a few days, but that's neither here nor there.
I just recently finished the first game and booted up the second, ready to get the second leg of the adventure started. I had purchased the game at launch way back when, and had managed to get my hands on a retail collector's edition. Thus, I had received (and subsequently redeemed) a code for access to the Cerberus Network.
Well I went to start up ME2, expecting to just jump into the game when, lo and behold, it said that it could not connect to the Cerberus Network. Thinking this odd, I hit Y to connect to the network, and found myself presented with a screen to either Redeem Cerberus Code or Purchase access to Cerberus. Figuring perhaps the network had simply reset, I decided to reenter the Cerberus Code given to me in my retail copy -- a code, I must stress, I had entered years ago.
Of course, this merely presented me with another screen saying "Error. Key code already in use."
Thus, I ask you all for help. I have browsed the forums and discovered this thread but I am unsure if they are still giving out replacement codes. If this is the case, if someone could please direct me to the appropriate person to contact, I would be very appreciative. I have also found people saying that you might be able to download the Cerberus Network access from your 360 download history but, alas, there is no such entry for me.
Thanks for your help in advance, anybody who might have some guidance. Cheers!

I think there's a slight confusion in what you are asking. Access to the Cerberus Network is different to what the redemption code entitles you to; probably not helpful when both are called the same things really (bad choice of words by BioWare probably).
As you discovered, trying to redeem a code which has been redeemed is a no go.
I will ask you an obvious question as it was not mentioned in your post: did you download the dlcs you are entitled to when you first redeemed the code?
If you had then the dlcs should be recorded in your download history. In fact, if you downloaded them and did not delete them they should still be there; there's no need to do anything really as far as I can see.
If you haven't then does the game content menu allow you to download anything? This will be trickier as there will be no record of you downloading the dlc and may not show up in your download history.
It is curious why you get that connection message, though I half suspect it is an EA server issue again (which may be part of the problem).
See which path you have to take to resolve it. Worst case scenario: EA support.

Hey O, thanks for the reply!
I have already downloaded the DLCs I was entitled to, yes -- with the exception of Firewalker. I did not download it when I redeemed the code as it was not available yet, and as far as my internet research can tell me, it is only available to those with access to the Cerberus Network. Which is where the issue is.
I can see everything else just fine, both in my 360 Download History and in the game content menu, but I cannot find Firewalker anywhere. It's not even on the Xbox Market anymore -- if it was there in the first place -- so I can't even pay to download it.
Sorry I wasn't as clear before. Any thoughts on this now? Cheers!

Hm...you'd be the second one here who redeemed before Firewalker was available.
The issue is how to get what you haven't got (Firewalker). It won't be available on XBox Live marketplace because it would be part of the Cerberus Network dlcs. What should happen is that Firewalker should appear as being downloadable in the content menu in the game. Oddly enough I'm not sure if the general 'dlc disappearing from the game content screen' issue has been resolved.
Contact EA support, because there's little at our end we can do from past experience, about entitled dlc disappearing from your menu screen (that's the issue at heart I believe). It may be a case that you need another code to unlock it.

I had the same problem- well on the surface it sounds like the same problem as you. It was caused by having multiple EA accounts basically and I was using a new one(s) at first instead of the original one I first made back when I first redeemed my Cerberus code. Hope that helps..? Turns out I have three EA accounts as well.

I bought me2 recently on origin, but when I started to play, it said that I needed to redeem my Cerberus Code. I thought that it meant my product key so I entered it and got the anser" Error, code already in use". How is that possible? I didn't buy the game used.

By stating you 'bought me2 recently on origin' leads me to believe you're on PC. You should therefore head over to the PC tech boards to seek advice from those who have a better chance of knowing the solution.
