Just as some characters may be bisexual or homosexual, there should be heterosexual characters as well. If Vega is straight he is straight for the same reason that Traynor is a lesbian. I salute Bioware for not going the DA2 route where nearly everyone in the party will f--k the protagonist.

I agree, Bioware are trying to tell a narrative yet all people can complain about is who gets to shack up with who.

Vega was put in there by EA to try to convince people to join the military in real life. He's got the same bland looks, mannerism, and history as the average joe hispanic entering military for the money but with about 100lb of extra muscle. He's not a supersoldier like the squadmates in ME2, and he's not an alien either, he looks just like a non-gay poster for more cannon fodder for Kissinger's wars on Islam.

Look, you got your gay effect you was whining for for a looong time, don't try and whine for turning every character gay.
That's just insulting to us, heterosexuals. It would draw a poor portrait of humanity if all the characters were gay or bisexuals. It would discirminate us, who aren't.

Now there's an idea - we should be able to play gay Shepard who has the ability to hit on every single same-sex character in the game, most of whom will outright reject him/her.
