Talks about how "natural" homosexuality is without having some understanding of modern environmental toxins is kind of pointless. The vast majoriy of pesticides used have endocrine toxicity effects, and the endocrine system plays a huge role in many things, of which hormonal function is but one of thousands. Not enough research or precautionary measures have been taken regarding all the endocrine toxins in our environment. We eat food sprayed with it, drink from BPA water bottles and eat canned food with BPA linings. It is the hormones in our blood that tell our bodies whether to differentiate into a male or female, and our hormonal system is under constant attack. Until people do something about the environmental toxins we'll never know if a person is gay because he chooses to be or because he's got BPA destroying his thyroid hormone levels.

That was some brilliant science fiction, man! You should try getting a job at Bioware. All it needs is a giant ancient sentient plant living under the Earth's crust that is planning our doom by making our population all turn gay so we can't procreate and refresh our numbers when it launches its attack.

I wonder if people started bashing heterosexuals when they wanted Tali and Garrus romancable (even tho Bioware stated that they didnt want them to be, because they werent attracted to humans)

can tell you now hes not my type, then again, huge muscle powerhouses dont really do much for me, mostly because they take up most of the bed, making me feel even more abnormal, int he sense that i like regular normal guys, not beefcakes.

Man, you really should read your history, I was not aware the roman empire used pesticides, that's a new one on me, but why go back so far, 1800s, the only reason it's not well known is because it was kept hidden by those who saw it as blasphemy amongst other things.

I cannot believe you even cited chemical as the reason, that is absolute ignorance.

Imo i dont mind that Vega is straight, but why no one attacked straight people for wanting to change Tali and Garuss into liking humans? Its not like Alien on Human sex is any more likely to make offspring than m/m or f/f

And why people are only now having a hearth attack over homosexuality if a gay romance (Liara and femShep) was avaliable in the first game?

Hey I would not mind Vega being gay at all. I even thought he was, given all that body structure... I only went confrontation mode when some poster said every man is gay, they "just don't know it yet".

Dragon Age II's "everybody is bi" approach felt weird and forced. I don't think it was a politically correct decision so much as "everybody nags for this/that romance option to be for all genders so lets just let everybody bang everybody". I have to applaud the Mass Effect direction; some people are hetrosexual (James), some are people are homosexual (Samantha, Cortez), some people are bi-sexual (Kelly). It feels more realistic and natural instead of forcing everybody jumping into Shepard's space pants.. even if Shepard s presence would automatically make all straight men and gay women fall in love with him.

I'll overlook the Kaidan/Ashley thing as just being fan service. That and they wussed out of the (already in the game) same sex romance for them in the first game anyway.

By everyone you mean 4 characters? How is that everyone? What about Aveline, Varric, Sebastian and you Sister/Brother?

Most companions in DA2 where heterosexual, how is that '"politaly correct"?

Same here. I never found Vega attractive. Actually I think it's a good thing he's not gay - he'd just ruin the bromance. Let all FemSheps have him. Oh and the most attractive male character created by BioWare is Alistair. And Garrus.

Seriously, WHO CARES? If you don't want to romance a character, don't stare deeply into their eyes and tell them you have a thing for them.

Besides, don't label the NPCs, Shepard is attractive to all species and genders.

It's Shepard. If he or she wants you, it's just a Paragon charm, or Renegade interrupt away from happening.
