When I first went through the demo and heard the Escape From Earth soundtrack, I thought it might be a one off very emotional peice. Then I found the whole soundtrack on Youtube, and to my wonder is was amazed to find the soundtrack is completely moving music all the way through!

After listening to the soundtrack, I think the best soundtracks are:
-I'm Sorry
-*I shouldn't name this one because it may be a portential spoiler, so I won't*
-An End Once And For All
-I'm Proud of You
-I Was Lost Without You

The soundtrack was truely amazing then... I listened to to the end credits music and found it a complete let down compared to the entire soundtrack in general plus the amazing Faunts from the ME1 credits. Seriously: it was crap Techno. The end credits should of been emotional Piano!
My only complaint though. The end credits were meh.
Still, Bioware and Clint should receive an award for this amazing work of music within Video Games! :wizard:

I'm just so... sad wondering what music will go to what such scenes. 'I'm Sorry' is total sad death music, and its left me dying to play Mass Effect 3 because I JUST WANT TO FIND OUT!!!
I'm still also raging that I have to wait till the 8th.

It would be even better if we could get it on C.D.

You do know that the end credits song is by Faunts, right?

The ME3 Ending Song, not the ME1? Then they really did a meh job this time unless I've gotten my hands on the wrong soundtrack...

Yeah, the ME3 one. It's Das Malefitz from their latest album in 2009.

I agree with the OP: ME3's soundtrack is awesome! The first track I listened to, Creation, already blew ME2's soundtrack out of the water (not so sure about ME1, because that game's OST has a life of its own as well). This (ME3's) OST even rivals that of Deus Ex Human Revolution and other great video game soundtracks.

Watiting to play and finish my first runthrough of the game before caring about the OST.

but I admit, the wait is hard, hell I bought the OSTs for some of ME2's DLCs (Overlord, LotSB).

BioWare I am amazed bout the quality.
I have both soundtracks from previous games, both of them stand out from a standard soundtrack with awesomness.

Yet what we can hear in the 3rd one... the piano play, alot of more drama, sadness and nostalgia, this truly one of the best things I have yet heard. Add to that the Take Eearth Back Trailer : Black Blade from Two Steps from Hell... I am eager to play the game and I am eager to hear and see what lies ahead. After spoiling alot for myself and being pist I think after trying to give reason to those choices BioWare took I think I can justify.

THE GAME IS GOING TO BE EPIC, most importantly as we know it will end Shepard's story in a true ending as much as we hate it, he needs to become a LEGEND, as he already did, yet this time with sacrificing himself.

Mars and A Cerberus Agent are the only tracks I liked. Maybe ingame I'll appreciate it more but for now just those two.

Definately prefer ME3s score to the previous 2. Listening to them on their own without the gameplay to go along with it still gives me goosebumps, now can't wait to hear them in-game :)

I would have said the same thing except: The soundtrack that we download from the CE comes in WAV. That format is the best format for music, along with FLAC. The main difference would be: Not only it has better quality and you can hear a lot of the instruments, but I don't know if you've listened some track and where there's no music and you volume's high, you hear this sound like static, sometimes even during the music. It's quite annoying.
Both WAV and FLAC eliminate that sound, making it lossless. The difference between WAV and FLAC is that FLAC is smaller. The ME3 OST in FLAC would probably be about 350 MBs.

They gave us superb quality, I just can't believe how beautiful it sounds.

Have been listening to the soundtrack and have to say it is amazing. The emotions it stirs without even playing the game is a credit to the team, great work guys.
