Is the outcome the same regardless of whether you saved / killed the council and picked anderson / udina...

I saw one video and could see it was a new council with different voice actors and udina.

Udina in ME3 will always be the Councilor, no matter what you've chosen in the previous games.

Udina is on the Council regardless of your choice. I believe the Council is different regardless of your choice, too, but I'd have to dig through the spoiler group to verify that - and I don't have time for that right now.

Its in one of the novels I believe. Anderson, as a council member, has some important mission to do and steps down from the council. This, coupled with the fact the politics were frustrating him.

It might just be because the council died by default if you start a new game.

Udina is always councilor. Inbetween 2 and 3 Anderson steps down because... well,, BW wanted him to.

Udina is always in the council, but I believe that alien part of the council will be the old one if you saved them in ME.

And so choosing Anderson as Councilor did absolutely nothing?

I've heard the Salarian Councillor is not the same. Don't know if it is accurate.

It would make sense for there to be a new Salarian councilor. Salarians are rather short lived and 5 years is a decent amount of 40 years.

Council changes only if you killed them off.
Anderson as Councilor does nothing but change a line or two.
Udina is always Councilor.
Udina always dies because he's indoctrinated and working with Cerberus.

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!

Naw but really, Udina had it coming for awhile. I don't know much about the Councils' lineup post Reaper attack, but I don't like having choices changed on me, even if there was a good reason.

It's like being told, "No, not right. THIS is how you should have done it. Now go on and try not to screw it up anymore. :D"

As you can imagine, it feels like I'm five, and I have no brain of my own. Thanks for doing things for me, Bioware!

I would've liked to see Udina work some politician magic, a reward for people who chose Udina because they thought he could do a better job than Anderson and had to put up with him in ME2.

Could it be possible that Anderson would've had to be out of the council to help with the war effort on earth so they just stuck udina in place? Makes sense but I never liked udina anyway.

If ME1 Anderson, then ME2 Anderson, BUT ME3 Udina, else if ME1 Udina, then ME2 and ME3 Udina. As for Council, if u saved them in ME1, they're still the same in ME3 (with air quotes).

Guess udina is cannon. An I hope it's the old council so I can rub it in their face. Even if I can't in game
