The rachni are always in the game. They've been indoctrinated and and are being modified into soldiers for the Reapers. If you saved the queen she was captured by the Reapers and is being used to birth their army. If you killed the queen the Reapers created a clone creature refered to in the leaks as the "Breeder Queen." There's an N7 mission dealing with them.

At the end of the ME3 Rachni mission you get a choice:
1. Kill the Queen, Grunt and his commandos live.
2. Spare the Queen, Grunt and his commandos die.
a) If Grunt is loyal, he lives, commandos still die.
Riiiiight, replace NPC X with NPC Y is a ton of details. And the only actual ingame difference is a bunch of different numbers.Pathero wrote...
I'm loving the level of detail that is going into the game. Your spoilers have just confirmed the thought that they've put into it.

Loyal from 2? Or is there a loyalty mission for him in 3?

Can you still gain rachni as a war asset if you kill both Queen (the Queen in the first one and the surrogate in the second?)

How is that not a consequence? You can make a loved character live...
What amazing consequence do you think a minor character like Grunt should make? Do you think he or the rachni shpould be indispensable to the war against the reapers? Bioware would have to take 10 years and 10 times the buget to make every minor character have hours and hours of exlusive content...Imo what we got is good enough
People like you never think how this works on a developer side, its all about entitled mentality here and if THEIR minor issue dosent get 10 hours of dialogue or years of developement that means Bioware sucks and they hate their fans.

The fact that you just KNOW isn't really an actual ingame consequence. I could just as easily close my eyes during that scene.Kanmuru wrote...

BioWare always nullfies your choices into some crappy text (emails/epilogues). A consequence would mean actual ingame gameplay content.
Funny how The Witcher 2 has an early choice that splits 2/3 of the game into completely different directions, with different quests each with completely different choices, different locations, different characters. And they did it with a much smaller budget than BiowEAre.Bioware would have to take 10 years and 10 times the buget to make every minor character have hours and hours of exlusive content...Imo what we got is good enough
Fallout New Vegas had 4 different endings each with a set of different quests leading up to them.
But I guess DA2 proved they wanna make everything with the smallest budget and in the shortest time possible.
And Вiоdrоnеs keep failing to realize that that's just a BS excuse since several RPGs have ten times the consequences of all BiowEAre games combined.People like you never think how this works on a developer side, its all about entitled mentality here and if THEIR minor issue dosent get 10 hours of dialogue or years of developement that means Bioware sucks and they hate their fans.
BiowEAre was right. They DO want Call of Duty audience. They also want the minimal effort that goes into making those games

Making assumptions about developer time and resources is a stupid act and you should stop this immediately.

No, You can't . Because this queen from ME3 is totally indoctrinated and you will loose her no matter what option you get.
If you saved the one from ME1 she will still fight the indoctrination and recognize you, thus making her offsprins a war assest to complete the Crucifi if you save her in ME3 that is.

I heard his squad dies but you can save Grunt and the Queen. I'm glad to know the squad survives.
