I thought they died, since I only saw Grunt exit the cave, but the whole squad is listed in my War Assets. The Free Jaffa wrote...

I can confirm that this worked in my playthrough. I had saved the ME1 queen, chose her in ME3, but still got Grunt and his squad.NubXL wrote...
Interesting. Hopefully that's true.xtorma wrote...
I read somewhere on these boards whether it's true or not , i can't say, but if you saved the queen you can save both her and grunt.
I heard his squad dies but you can save Grunt and the Queen. I'm glad to know the squad survives.

Wish I would have known this earlier yesterday. I didn't think you could save both so I just took Grunt. Oh well. I'm at the very end of the game right now with 5138 EMS... Not like the queen would have mattered to me anyways with how the story goes.

They did die. You still get that squad, however. It's just new recruits. There's actually a really funny thing about that unit and Grunt in Liara's office.

Fallout New Vegas had 4 different endings each with a set of different quests leading up to them.
Oh yes, you talk to a guy who sends you around meeting up with people and doing the same quests that all have "good guy" and "bad guy" solutions. If you're working for Mr. House or the Legion, you want "bad guy" solutions. If you're working for the NCR or Yes Man, you want "good guy" solutions.
Then you either kill or save the president, and your end reward is whether you run across the Hoover Dam in one direction or the other.
Real Consequences!
