Getting mine on the 7th. Hopefully digital download at exactly 12 midnight tomorrow night.
$51 for Digital deluxe? Hell yeah.
Only crazy people buy from bricks & mortar in Australia. Digital Deluxe edition online for $54 US ($51 Aus) keys go out on the 7th.
In Perth due to the time difference often means 9-10pm I get the key and start the download. By the time I get off work on Wednesday, it will be ready to play.
Get it earlier AND cheaper.

JB or Game imo, as I said EB has midnight parties. seems odd that they would steal their own thunder.
all my CE has been physical tbh. I had my Starcraft II CE shipped all the way from Hong Kong. it's worth it imo =p

Some of us still prefer having an actual physical copy in our hands.
That said, how did you manage to swing a $54 price? I'm looking at the cost in Origin right now and it's saying $80.
Also... As someone who's ordering from Origin and in Australia, do you have any information to add on this rumor?

Those who purchased the DDE from the Australian store will receive the Warfare Gear DLC.
" Rahul1:
You have preordered standard or deluxe edition ?
you: Deluxe
Rahul1: You will get N7 rifle , N7 armour,AT-12 Raider Shotgun,M55 Argus Assault Rifle "
This is a bit of a relief.
I had a look at the description on Origin a minute ago and yes, it DOES say the "N7 Warfare Gear" near the top (it says this on the standard edition too), but I can't be certain that wasn't a typo, since it doesn't mention the Valkyrie or the Defender armor set anywhere else.

you can fudge the prices by having an American IP. basically like steam, although I don't know if Origin checks credit card details (i.e you address has to be a proper USA address etc)

It's not the big stores that are usually first to break the street date (since you'll be punished). It's usually stores like K-Mart, Big W or Target. I remember talking to a guy at Harvey Norman saying they usually wait for K-Mart or someone to break the street date (and take the hit).

I'm almost prepared to say it WILL break street date. Considering what happened with Skyrim, which many expected to be kept under lock and key.

As has been described in above posts, once someone lets the game out early for what ever reason the run is on. Gamers smell a broken street date like sharks and bloodclone wars wrote...
