It's not only the endings. Mass Effect 3 is also full of auto dialogue. And most dialogue that isn't automated is either paragon or renegade. Plus there are the "emotional engagement" scenes which are also pretty bad. And last but not least, almost all choices from ME1/2 come down to replace random character with character from ME1/2.
