First time i post on the Bioware forums actually, just because i'm hearing rumors "everywhere" that ME3 doesn't have any "good" endings and that they are all "bad".

I for one am a sucker for good endings and always tried to get the best possible endings in ME1 & ME2, even when playing as renagade.

All i want is an ending where after the reapers are defeated and you reclaim the Quarian's homeworld after the war, following with a scene of you and tali(without helmet) embracing/kissing eachother. :crying:

So are these just rumours or are they 100% confirmed?

Plz Bioware i want a semi-happy ending plz.

They are 100% confirmed, unless you are one of those who dismiss photo and video evidence as "trolls and fakes".

the prima guide says there is a secret ending

so far there COULD be a good ending but there is a bug that kinda screws it up

There's barely 1 ending with slight variations. None happy. All lazy.

Then what was the point of me playing ME1&ME2!

I could have just aswell let every of my teammates DIE if it doesn't make a difference in the end.

No only if you let it.

I for one had expected it for a long time. it is not all bunny's and sunshine. yes the galaxy is doomed for the moment but it will repair itself. as for the normandy crew its a pity but i wont judge until i played the full game and find out why they are stranded.

So i dont think it will be the end of the world

There is no ending where Shepard ends up with their LI. Whether Shepard is reunited with the LI after the events of the game - possible (depending on your final choice) but both unknown and unlikely, and in at least several of the endings impossible.

So much for no loose ends. There's quite a few still left over, even if shepard dies. What is the fate of our intrepid crew(On jurassic Park)? What happens to all the races? Why wasn't there a *real* eqpilogue, like the end of FO3 or the end of DA:O.

b/c they want to make a ME4 and get us all to buy it to "tie up" these loose ends

i for one will not be getting ME4 if the endings are truly this bad

Nothing is really solved.

In destroy the underyling problem still exists.
In control you just replaced one tyrant with another
In Merge anything could happen, good or bad.

The game completely fails to show any consequences.

*pat, pat*. I know how you feel. Just accept it, and it won't hit you as hard when playing the game... Posted Image

No. You only get to decide the future of all galactic life, organic and artificial.

The endings are hopeful from the point of view of the galaxy as a whole, but bleak from Shepard's point of view. Shepard - and through them, the player - will lose a lot to defeat the Reapers. I won't go into specifics.

If you were hoping for some ending where Shepard can settle down with his LI after the war had blown over, then there are no good endings. If you were hoping for an ending that at least tries to realise the horrors and sacrifice of war, then at least Bioware tried. They didn't quite pull it off, but at least they didn't shy away from making the Reapers as devastating as they implied with Sovereign in ME1.

Really?! I think I'd heard of this, but not seen any proof / evidence and with everyone saying the whole game had been datamined with nothing extra showing up...where have you seen about the bug?

Me too. I was expecting it.....but the Normandy part got me off guard.

And i thought before all this that the endings will not upset me because i like sad endings........guess i was wrong. I think it's the lack of explanation that upsets me more.

want proof? simple......

the 2 squadmates you bring with you in the final mission get blasted by harbinger if you have not enough EMS leaving you alone with Anderson to get to the Guardian and whatnot....(or they get saved and harby dies if you have enough EMS)

YET those 2 squadmates appear on the normandy during the crash scene.......for no reason at all

without that bug and 4000/5000 EMS and the destroy ending Shepard can survive and so can 2 of your squadmates (including your LI potentially) and be still on earth.....together

as bittersweet as it could be that ending would be acceptable

I am impressed we can even beat the Reapers. Sacrifices are necessary and I am ready. Don't care what anyone else thinks.

Because DLC :P

If they tied up everything post game there is no room to squeeze more money out of you to tie those loose ends up. Or just promise that like with Witch Hunt and just make it a commercial for the next game instead.

It's just not only an end to Sherpard's story , it's an End to Mass Effect as you know it . Boom ! 50,000 years, 100,000 years , 1 million years , poof ! out the window. It's prequels or nothing.

Sherpard dying is not a big deal, but the franchise it wiped clean. Everyone also seems to forget (besides the Normandy crew getting boned), Earth gets glassed in all the destory endings. Then entire surface of the earth is gone. It's complete BS ... I have to look at Mass Effect like the movie Impact now instead of Armageddon. What a let down.

Whoah, whoah.

Earth only gets glassed in the vaporise (really bad) ending.
In the bad ending the Big Ben and such are blown up, but people live and in the good ending, nothing gets destroyed.

It's not that ALL destroy endings are the same for Earth, it's just that ONLY destroy can have the vaporise variation.

There aren't any well written endings.
