Believe me, you're not the only one... first she says you're trying to kidnap her, then if you don't support her she switches sides over to Loghain and makes it almost inevitable that everyone will support Loghain. I was really disappointed that Bioware didn't let you kill her...

In my most recent game, she actually never betrayed me. At the end of the mission when you rescue her and get stopped at the door, I simply went without a fight and she never got the chance to switch sides on me. She even sided with me in the Landsmeet.
