Since it's considered off-topic in the endings thread, I'll just make a new topic.

So, we know that the Prejak Paddle Fish gives us secret intel when we beat NG+. Xoisite, the man with the space editions, has just stated that you do indeed need to romance Kelly to the point that she agrees to take care of your fish. Don't worry - romancing her does not mean you are cheating. If you have an LI, it is SAFE to romance her.

You can find Kelly on the Citadel in ME3 after a certain mission. She'll be with the other refugees. She will ONLY give you the Prejek.

So far, we know it does NOT deal with Liara and the time capsules - that scene comes up with every playthrough.

The Prejek Paddle Fish can be found on Illium for the price of 7500 credits (6666 credits after discount).

For your collectibles, the model ships are around the Normandy. The Space Hamster, Boo, is also on the Normandy. Boo can be found running around the hidey hole Jack was in during the events of ME2. Happy Hunting!

Is this Intel important or just another
War asset

We're not sure. The Prima Strategy guide only says that it'll give us secret intel. The Paddle Fish is listed as a war asset though.

I can't believe an effing fish is a War Asset. Now I have to use a Shep where I actually got her to take care of my fish? Looks like be loading some saves when I get home. I know I romanced her in at least one playthrough. In my canon she's dead though.

Well blah, my F!Shep has no option to ask Kelly to take care of her fish. Hope it's not too damned important.

ACK. In my most recent playthrough, I deliberately didn't romance Kelly - wanted Shep to be all sad and alone and things. Guess she isn't the one I'll be doing my first and second playthroughs with!

Thanks for the tips, Elegana (and Xoisite) :)

That is not what the fish does. That is a scene that appears in the game regardless whether you have the fish or not. Xoisite said that scene will always play.

In the spoiler group, there's a thread concerning the fish. That is my source. You may have to go to page 2 for it.

Who knows? Silent Hill had endings where aliens would abduct the main character.

Yeah. Romance her to the point of taking her to dinner and make sure she says she'll take care of your fish.

Females can do it too, and going out for dinner with your counselor is not a romantic situation, trust me.

I invite Kelly to dinner is most of playthroughs but I played ME2 so many times I simply don't remember if I did in the playthrough I plan to import. Is there a way to determine it? I suppose breaking with LI and try to invite her to Shepard's quarters. I would still have to previous files to import ME2 LI to ME3.

Do you know if we have to buy the fish before we invite her, or if we can buy whenever we want. If I didn't buy it in the current playthrough I'll visit Ilium and I'll buy it.

Seriously: A single fish can alter greately Galactic events?
It's not impossible: scientific reasearch on it could deliver relevant knowledge but if it is then they make the even more complex than life itslef Posted Image

Imagine if the mysterious and sought-after secret ending depends on that fish....Posted Image

Nailing someone under false pretenses to do chores for you provides bonuses aside from a scene getting a slap?

Good going Bioware, wonder what message you are trying to send out.

Wait, there's no other way to get the Prejack on ME3? You just have to "romance" Kelly?

If so, how do i do that?

You actually don't nail Kelly. At most, she'll do a stripper dance. If you don't want to get it that far, just have dinner with her.

I think as long as you have at least one fish before you invite her to dinner, you'll be okay with any other fish you add in.
