Nope, I just catch her, not embrace or let her fall.

In my eyes it's just a friendship date, something I've done with a girl before and had no strings attached and I didn't have romantic feelings for.

We enjoyed California Pizza Kitchen, Daquiri's, Smoothies, and some chocolate.

Well in my renegade (not full of course but that's what I'll call it for sake of clarity) playthrough that I'm doing, I've been less kind, so we'll see how it goes.

At start, I told her I just want her to tell me what's going on, only important reports.
I told her I'd catch her and she could trust me (because Renegade isn't evil and I take care of my crew).
I also told her that she was naive about love.
Additionally, I told her we wouldn't fail against the collectors.

After the 1st stage of the game and I get to the other characters to recruit, we'll see.

So you can't get the intel by just keeping the fish you have in ME2 alive, without having to flirt with Kelly?
My femshep has never got the option to invite her to dinner.

If it doesn't effect your LI in ME2 (i.e. neither she, nor Kelly, bring it up in ME2) and it doesn't negatively impact anything in ME3 what does it matter *how* you get her to Feed your Fish? I mean, the catch you dialogue is corny, but it's not the worst line ever, especially given the fact that it's just childish, good natured flirting if it doesn't lead to sex. That was always my biggest concern: Flirting to Dinner, Dinner to Sex, Sex to "I'm a Douche..." conversation. If that isn't a concern and it really does seem more like to friends just having Dinner and she does you a favor with the Fish afterward, that's great.

My connection to my characters is important and my canon FemShep is straight. Straight as an arrow. So it's more being uncomfortable with it.

It's always been kind of implied Kelly is the... 'loosest bolt' in the Normandy as well... so... that's why there's no issue with her and other romances.

No one knows just yet. We should know eventually since Xoisite is currently playing his third round of ME3, but this time, has the Prejek Paddle Fish with him.

No, the Omega Mordin is on Hardcore... Vorscha rockets everywhere.

I've still not chose Embrace and it still works <.<.

I think you basically just have to talk to her everytime and use all her dialog options and then invite her.

Yeah, I think you should be safe if you choose the catch one since I recall in my other playthroughs, there's some flirt options.

Well, this certainly sucks. I was nice to Kelly in all of my saves, but told her that we should keep our relationship professional. I didn't like how the positive lines sounded flirtatious. I tried to load up a post-game save, chatting her up and then landing on Ilium for it to "register" as a mission, but the farthest I could get is when she apologized for being flirty. No matter what I said there, I couldn't get it to advance any farther.

I'm disappointed, to say the least, but it is what it is. They shouldn't have shoe-horned the fish into this one decision.

Will the fish count if i romanced kelly with no fish in the tank but she said she would feed it. And i just bought the fish after i beat the game.
