My only lament is, if you were going to make two models- why not put them together? Like make the CGI something like paragon [Sheploo] vs renegade [Femshep]

I'm still going to play as ManShep, but nice to see FemShep finally getting some of the line light.

Have to honestly say, I was expecting it to be some kinda of joke thread, but I'm plesantly suprised.

Can't possibly imagine why
And I guess it technically is~
Seriously can't wait to play both FemShep and ManShep.

Still no Kaidan. I hate it when people keep asking us who we want to see. :| It was actually noted "Wow, there's a lot of requests for Kaidan" (paraphrasing) ... I should know better than to get my hopes up. >_<
I look at it as breaking down barriers one at a time. First we get trailers with the female version of the player character (even CGI ones, wow!), then down the road they'll actually start putting male LIs in trailers.
I think it breaks down barriers more by having two women kicking arse in a trailer rather than a woman and a man.

That may be one way to look at it, but Kaidan hardly ever appeared in the trailers when he was actually shown to start with.
It's just inconsistent with the way Bioware is all "VS IS IMPORTANT." yet Ashley gets more screentime, which is good because she's a kickass female but also bad because people have complained about Ash being made to be "sexy". So I'm very uncertain what this is supposed to be telling me. (And not everyone has saved Ash...)
I'd like equal amount of screen time dedicated to /both/ VS but that's not going to happen. :|

Although I love Action Girls in fiction as much as the next person, it's pretty well accepted that any given male protagonist is going to have a feisty, independent, yet soft and gooey on the inside Action Girl sidekick/love interest. Yeah, we don't often see two women in marketing working together like this, but Ashley was put in this trailer specifically to be the Love Interest/Eye Candy for MaleShep. It's not knocking Ashley, it's just the way it is.
Having a female lead in a video game trailer with a male potential love interest/sidekick isn't something *I* see every day, and it would be refreshing to *me*, especially for a Bioware game.

She looks a hell of a lot better in the CGI then in the game.
