I usually get UPS for release day shipping as well, which means I'll probably get it in the afternoon. Still shipping soon...

Still shipping soon for me too. I also did release day shipping for Gears 3 and it arrived that very same day, so I'm not too worried, just dying from the anticipation lol

I know this isn't what you meant but for people who feel like they have to wait for the UPS truck at home you can signup for UPS My Choice and tell them to leave it at the door (as well as a few other options, future one being leave it at a UPS retail store). This way you don't have to worry about missing the UPS guy.

Or, the better option, I've found, is to select the "hold for pickup" option if your UPS operations hub isn't too far away from you.

You don't have to pay the $5 to have it sent to a UPS store, and since the package usually has to pass through before it's sent out for delivery anyway, if you have them hold it, you can pick it up first thing in the morning rather than waiting for a UPS truck to show up at 6:30 p.m. or whatever time of evening they usually arrive.

I have release day shipping as well,from Amazon.
Any one else been charged yet?
I checked my card and i have been charged.
Almost time, this waiting is killing me.

I live in Sweden and I also pre-ordered from amazon uk and its says that the estimate time delivery is between 12th-21th of March. How come I'm getting it so late? Do I have to click somekind of button?

Actually, they do toss in a "confirmed 2-hour delivery window" as a perk for upgrading from the free membership to the paid "My choice" membership.

Of course, you pay $40 a year for that perk, so it's probably not worth it unless you get a lot of UPS shipments.

Amazon will be shipping all of our release day orders at some point today (this afternoon/early evening).  They have never failed me either.  And I too am one of the last stops on UPS' route in my neighborhood.  I probably won't be getting my delivery until about 8pm tomorrow night : ( 

UPS/FedEx is going to have a very busy day tomorrow!

"Shipping Soon" ... I just need to get my tracking number! I had fraud on the card I initially pre-ordered with so I had to change the payment option two weeks ago. It should be fine but you never know until it charges and ships.

Unfortunately for most people I'm assuming that UPS will be the carrier. I scheduled my vacation for Wednesday onward because I figured UPS would ship and I wouldn't see it at my place until 5 or 6pm anyway.

Work is dragging slower than ever....

ah man, same with me, UPS doesnt arrive until around 5-7PM, and FedEx is always random, anywhere from 10AM until 5PM

Mine was supposed to have shipped today and the delivery is supposed to be between 6-7th  :S We 'll see...
in most of my dealings with Amazon I have not had problems. Just once they delayed the shipping of a book but they returned the extra money I had payed.

Yep, I'm in the Shipping Soon camp as well. Amazon seems to ship things around 3 or 4pm pacific time, I've noticed. So that's around when I expect confirmation. And yeah, it depends on the carrier on whether I'll have the game early tomorrow or late afternoon. I actually don't have to work Tuesdays so I'm hoping for an early delivery.

I'm just annoyed that they took off my RDD. I had to settle for free 1-day deliver.

I am in the "Shipping Soon" camp as well. Amazon has never failed me in the past when it comes to release date shipping, and I buy alot of things from Amazon. It's just the waiting on UPS that's the killer for me. In my area, it could be delivered as early as 10AM or as late as 8PM. Regardless, I'll be playing on release day for sure. Amazon rocks!
