I ordered the Collector's Edition from Amazon Canada, changed my shipping to expedited a few days ago and it still has my delivery estimate as the 13th

I got my shipped. I have chosen release day delivery but they shipped with UPS Ground and estimate is March 6 which totally does not make sense if it comes from East coast (I am in CA)!

EDIT: Well it seems it comes from Nevada, and first tracking info was screwed showing Easter Time. And it is UPS Ground scheduled for tomorrow.

I wouldn't really say a pattern, but most likely they ship in groups.
Luckily for me, living in DC, that there are three shipping centers close by, so they tend to send my release day shipments at like 2-4am, take a less then 30 minute plane ride and ends up at my door in the morning.
So I guess there is a sort of pattern.
It is still on shipping soon for me (CE).

Do you have to sign for the packages?  I don't think anyone will be home till noon or so, don't wanna miss it  UPS usually leaves stuff for us when it comes, but I don't know if you need to sign for this type of shipping in particular

I've never had to sign for mine. I think you're good.

Mine just shipped! I signed up for them to text me whenever the tracking is updated so I'll know exactly where it is all the time.

I think it's technically up to the disgression of the driver whether it is safe to leave your package.  For me, I live in a building with locked access so they leave it at my door if I'm not around and if nobody is at the office.  Unless your door is in a high traffic area with easy access, they'll probably leave it.

Mine shipped at 4:46 PM Pacific time. It's coming from Nevada to Northern California (where I live). Normally gets to the UPS center here at about 3-5 AM and then is put on the truck at 6-7:30 AM. Never arrives till 2-4 PM though, oh well, I've got work to do anyway on Tuesday, so hopefully that will kill time.

SP edition here in PA, and mine shipped from Breinigsville, PA at noon Monday and will be delivered Tuesday, March 6, 2012! So stoked! Ordered back on April 9, 2011 from Amazon.com when I first heard they were taking pre-orders! Almost here!! *squee*

What I've observed is that the closer you are to a warehouse the later it "ships".

Well thats conforting, i assume that the shipping soon means that they got the game packaged and waiting for transport (yes, i´m a little paranoid with the recent lack of CE)

Hm. I just realized they shipped Fedex. Most of my deliveries have been UPS and they get here in the late afternoon. I wonder why time Fedex makes it to my neighborhood? Says estimated delivery at 3:00 pm, which is pretty good since I get up at 2:00pm. We'll see, though.

Hope that's true. I live right next to Phoenix and it's still "Shipping Soon".

I wouldn't worry too much. I've used Amazon several times and I haven't had anything be late yet. They do seem to time it right down to the wire though with shipping things out of the warehouse - had one game that said it shipped very early in the morning day of release, but got to my house around midday.

Mine shipped also! I can't wait to be woken up by the sound of that loud ass UPS truck...at least this time the package will be for me and not my housemates lol
