Bioware you can put things hovewer you want but stop with your bullsh*t is there never enough we pay for the whole game anymore but no milking money seems to be what you care about now, meh :(, paying money because we want to unlock faster is the most stupid thing i've heard on your part so this may sound rude but stop being complete jerks.

Listen is someone is stupid enough to actually buy something they can get relatively easy I say you just let them.

It's their loss.

I completely agree.

Unless they make it hard to get what you are searching for

Yes, you explain that as the reasoninig, but from what we've seen from the last two games you've made, your intention is money. With the ten dollar From Ashes already, you're making bank. I understand that, but don't try to excuse it. :|

Pro tip: Thats the intention of every company. To make money.

Would be nice for people to start realize the truth already, but no.

Spectre pack (guaranteed rare character or weapon) is 60 000 credits, which is two full Silver games (30 mins of play), with spare change to boot. It's not like using MS/Bioware points will be an obligation if you play the MP a minimum.

it is an option.
why are you angry?

because they make money of it?
or because it means somebody/anybody can level fast then you?

Heheh, this is for CO-OP multiplayer! If anyone buys anything, they're practically helping teammates as much as themselves, by bringing potentially better gear to the table! Otherwise, players are not forced to buy anything! Sounds like a dandy system to me.

You know, I have to wonder what kind of response they'd get if they, say, opted to just give out the packs for free, as an alternative to ingame credits. As in, you lack the time to play? Press a button, boop, free pack.

I'm willing to bet "it's optional, I'll still get mine with ingame credits" wouldn't be a recurring defence, even though it would require precisely the same duration of gameplay time to unlock.

Huh. That resembles a sound business plan. How dare BioWare make money to stay in business. Stop using logic and reason, Jack!

BTW, missed you terribly! Image IPB

It's always the same with Jack. Whenever a good rant pops up he destroys it with logic. :?:o:P

Because having unlocked more races means different ways to play and more fun  whichs increases how long you want to play multi so why chagre money for something so small like multiplayer unlocks just for having fun face it smart guy it's greed and i'm sick of it, day one DLC i can accept but this is a step further once again.

Damn that Jack. He owes me money. Image IPB

Anyway, I hope the irony of people complaining about an optional addiition to an optional (and unrequired) Co-op aspect of the game... that people complained to high heaven about being added in the first place.... isn't lost on anyone.

I think most people would fail to see the point of having the system.  One can invest time or money to get the ingame items, Some choose time, others money. You decide what has more value for yourself.  But so long as the free pack button was equally applied I wouldn't have a problem with that either.

I doubt I will spend cash on this, because I don't see myself playing the MP. But if I do, this could be helpfull.

The reason it could be helpfull is bacause I'm a full time college student in a pre-pharm program. I have little time on my hands and it would be nice to not feel like I have to grind anything. However I would first have to be interested in MP, which at the moment I am not.

You realize you don't have to pay money for multiplayer unlocks? You can earn the packs just from playing the multiplayer.

****ing hell, I hate this forum sometimes.

I find this unfair,

right off the bat rich players who have the spare money to throw at this crap are going to have rank x weapons and full race selection while i'm going to actually have to play the game to earn the unlocks.

I support this since it's basically horde mode not vs each other. Mw3 has prestige tokens if infinityward sold that I would call bs, but packs like this help and don't hurt anybody or give unfair advantage I'll buy it for sure.

WTF really REALLY, did capcom replace Bioware.

How is it distasteful? It in no way harms the experience and it is simply a way to get some more money. If someone wants to actually pay for it, then be my guess but it isn't harming me at all since I'm using in game currency.

Paying for an advantage in a multiplayer game leaves a bad taste is a lot of peoples mouths.

In the full version of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, players obtain Reinforcement Packs using credits earned while playing the game.  These packs may include weapons, upgrades, consumables and new characters to play. Based on player feedback during the demo period, the drop rate for rare race/class combinations and weapons has been improved.

Seems legit. Anyone who wants to can spend their money and it is not all that hard to get creds.

okay still not sure how you buy Bioware credit and transfer it over to your 360 version of the game...

also...if you are spending REAL money on these packs when you buy the pack are you getting the level X item rather than the next level up and can you choose a pack that you know will have something in it you want?

and how much real are we talking about here???
